Reviews
The excursion was a letdown. The boats were setup right on the beach instead of further away, and we found ourselves swimming near them amid strong diesel smells. It felt like a race to get to the beaches first. Overall, the experience was disrespectful, and the food was very disappointing.
Our experience was awful. The company arrived at departure time to inform us that the boat had broken down. We requested a refund, but it hasn’t been processed yet. I emailed to propose a different trip date, considering we had two children, but received no response.
We had an incredible and unforgettable experience! Everything was well organized and executed. We explored beautiful, authentic beaches. Sailing on the sea with my husband and kids was truly enjoyable. It felt like a magical escape.
The hotel was very nice, well-maintained, and had pleasant pools. The staff were friendly, though the waiters cleared plates even when I wasn't finished. A special mention goes to AICHA for her fantastic ghozlemes at the beach restaurant, as well as the skillful hair designer at the main hotel’s salon. It was an unforgettable trip, and I plan to return.
The mini bus arrived thirty minutes late, and the air conditioning was not functioning well, which made our trip to and from the boat quite uncomfortable in the 40-degree heat. On the return journey, the driver kindly provided cold water bottles, which was a nice touch. Sulouda Island is beautiful but overcrowded. The beach is small, leaving little space to swim due to the numerous tourist boats lining the shore. Implementing a timetable for boat arrivals could improve the experience. The boat itself was comfortable, equipped with ample sunbeds and shade, and the crew was friendly and accommodating. The food was enjoyable, with options for fish or chicken, along with pasta, salad, and bread. Overall, given the lower price compared to TUI, I would recommend it, but be sure to bring plenty of water and be prepared for the crowds.
The boat trip was enjoyable, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations after seeing earlier photos. All boats arrive at the island simultaneously, which created a crowded atmosphere that made swimming difficult. It was still a nice day overall.
This experience was fantastic. The hotel pickup was convenient, and the food on the boat was excellent. There were four stops for swimming. I plan to return with my wife and kids, feeling very safe throughout.
We had a fantastic day and are already looking forward to returning. Just be prepared for the pickup and drop-off service; depending on the hotel order, it can take some time.
The boat tour was fantastic, offering so many stunning views and perfectly timed events. The food was decent and the value for the price was great. We would certainly do it again. However, we didn't give it a full 5 stars because the boat was overcrowded, making it feel cramped. Additionally, the staff lacked professionalism as we exited the water; I felt uneasy walking back to my towel in a bikini with them watching. Aside from that, it was truly amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
I typically enjoy lunch on boat trips, but this was the worst I have ever had. The island, often called the Turkish Maldives, doesn't compare to the real Maldives, having visited both. It was unpleasant to see people smoking around the boat, and the island felt overcrowded. I will not book this again when I return to Turkey. The dolphins we saw in the bay at the beginning were the only highlight.
