A combined experience: two-hour whale watching followed by an hour and a half at Mendenhall Glacier Park for hiking and scenic views.
This tour offers a chance to see Humpback whales and other wildlife during a two-hour whale watching excursion in the waters surrounding Juneau. Afterwards, spend 1.5 hours exploring Mendenhall Glacier Park. Here, you can hike to Nugget Falls or observe salmon spawning at Steep Creek, as well as visit the displays at the Visitor Center for further insights into the local ecology.
The combination of marine and terrestrial experiences makes for a well-rounded outing for nature enthusiasts. Make sure to bring appropriate clothing for variable weather, as you'll be outdoors both on the water and in the park.

Reviews
I wouldn't recommend this tour, particularly during cruise ship arrivals. It feels too commercial and focused solely on making profits.
The team was fantastic. Since we went during the early season, it took a bit longer, but they put in extra effort to find one. We were ultimately able to see one!
The whale watching trip was fantastic. The crew was very knowledgeable, the boat was in great condition, and we had the chance to see whales, seals, and eagles.
The whale watching experience was outstanding. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The crew possessed a wealth of knowledge. The boat was both clean and comfortable. I will certainly choose them again in the future.
We had an incredible experience in Juneau, spotting two pods of Orcas along with some humpback whales. The crew was attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. The glacier was stunning, making for a wonderful day.
Transportation details were well explained from beginning to end. The drivers were professional and polite. The naturalist leading the whale watching tour was both informative and friendly. We did spot whales, even though it was early in the season; however, restrictions limit how close you can get due to regulations. The highlight for me was the self-guided visit to Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls. The drop-off point was conveniently located near the cruise line, restaurants, and shops.
Juneau tours are well-organized and located conveniently by the tram. The bus was comfortable, and our driver, a Hoosier from Indiana, made the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend them for your excursions in Juneau.
The entire excursion was excellent from start to finish. The check-in process was straightforward, and the staff was friendly. The bus drivers and transport personnel were pleasant, and the crew on the ship was fantastic. Five hours was an ideal duration for this tour; our previous booking was for three hours, which wouldn't have allowed enough time for photos at both the glacier and the waterfall during the hikes. We're pleased we switched to this tour. It turned out to be a fantastic day, highlighted by the sighting of two whales!
DeeDee and our morning driver, who had long hair and a dark beard, were both friendly and knowledgeable. The whale watch crew, including Lauren, Brock, and M, provided an excellent experience. We spotted a pod of four humpback whales bubble feeding from about 100 yards away, which was incredible. I would certainly recommend this tour.
We took this trip today after disembarking from a cruise, and it was quite enjoyable overall. While some parts, like the transfers, were a bit dull, we did see a humpback whale and plenty of sea lions. The enthusiastic narration added a lot to the experience, making it memorable to hear someone so passionate about their work. We were lucky to spot Tucker the humpback whale. Thanks to Captain Joe, Jack, and Travits (I hope I got the name right). Though the tour isn't the cheapest option, it was worth it for the seamless experience without the hassle of transport. If you're looking for a stress-free outing, I recommend booking this. However, the drivers' narration could have been more commanding, as some guests spoke over them, which is inconsiderate. I would certainly recommend this tour.
