This tour was fantastic. Our guide, San, had immense knowledge, and we encountered a lot of wildlife. Pickup was effortless, and Sam was very generous with his time. The morning tour was surely the best chance to see bears, elk, bighorn sheep, marmots, and even a bald eagle. I highly recommend it.
Sam truly shined during this tour. His knowledge and eagerness to share it made the experience exceptional. There weren’t any dull moments, as he highlighted many intriguing aspects of the landscape even when wildlife was scarce. The bus was clean and comfortable, and taking photos through the windows was easy.
Our guide, Sam, was exceptional. He enthusiastically shared his extensive knowledge about the wildlife and ecosystem, making the experience fascinating. Although our group had its challenges with noisy adolescents and distractions, Sam ensured we had a wonderful time. We spotted bears, a moose, bighorn sheep, mule deer, eagles, egrets, and even a doe with her fawn. It turned out to be a great morning.
The excursion was decent, but the unusually warm weather kept most wildlife hidden that morning. We noticed more animals in the evening on our own, and it felt like the morning tour might have started too late for the temperature. The bus ride was a bit fast and bumpy, although the driver was well-informed and shared plenty of details about the forest and where to spot animals.
We had an extra day in Jasper, so we decided to join this tour to make the most of it. Our guide, Sam, was excellent—friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and local environment. Thanks to his expertise, we visited spots where wildlife is commonly seen. We were thrilled to witness elk, a grizzly bear, salmon, and a bald eagle in its nest; the experience was truly remarkable. While we didn’t encounter a lot of other animals, we still enjoyed the tour and the insights we gained. It also provided a great chance to explore different areas and learn about the wildfires that have affected the region over the years. Thank you, Sam, for doing such a wonderful job and making this tour so enjoyable.
This tour was outstanding and very informative. We never felt rushed; in fact, we spent quite some time trailing a grizzly bear, which was captivating. I appreciated learning about the history of the fires, as well as the discussions on antler and horn shedding, along with the variety of animals we encountered.
Our driver and guide shared extensive knowledge that helped us understand the sights we encountered. The bus, which accommodated 18 guests, provided a comfortable ride. We experienced many surprising views along the tar roads, including Wapiti, Dickhorn, Black Bears, and Grizzlies. It was an impressive journey.
Jake, our guide, was both friendly and knowledgeable. He made a great effort to help us spot wildlife and had a good understanding of their habitats. With a wonderful sense of humor, he was also very considerate of the animals. His commitment to environmental stewardship and teaching others to respect wildlife is commendable. We were able to see marmots, eagles, osprey, deer, moose, and cow elk. Overall, it was a successful trip.
We had a fantastic tour guided by the incredibly knowledgeable Ross. His extensive experience in Jasper, coupled with his passion for wildlife, particularly bears, truly enhanced our brief visit. We learned about Jasper’s history, the remarkable wildlife, and enjoyed his personal anecdotes and wild stories about encounters with grizzlies and moose. He devoted ample time to ensure we had a memorable experience. We spotted osprey, marmots, several elk, a charming goat, and a Canada jay. I highly recommend this experience.
I recently completed a wildlife tour in Jasper National Park that included a boat ride on Maligne Lake. Our guide, Sam, was outstanding—both entertaining and knowledgeable, sharing information with a great delivery. This is my first review ever, but he truly made the experience exceptional. We were fortunate to see a moose, bull elk, deer, and osprey.
