We were lucky to have booked an afternoon cruise, as the morning ones were cancelled because of fog, which lifted just in time for us. Visiting in early October meant the mountains were snow-capped, making the views even more impressive.
It was a wonderful experience with an excellent guide and captain. Be prepared for any weather, make sure to use the restroom before boarding, and it's best to leave young children at home. Don’t forget to tip well.
