We began our expedition just before 6 PM after picking up everyone from their hotels. Jake was our driver and guide; he introduced himself and encouraged us to share our names and where we were from, which I appreciated since most guides typically don’t do this. Then our search commenced, and we were amazed by the number of animals we encountered. Jake knew the perfect locations to find them. Unfortunately, I missed getting a picture of a coyote because we were just starting out, and our speed startled it when Jake braked abruptly. However, we still spotted it deeper in the woods. The animals we observed included a black bear, moose, elks (including a pregnant one), piebald elk, white-tailed deer, marmot, osprey, bighorn sheep, a spruce grouse, and Canadian geese. Our tour ended up lasting an extra 1.5 hours because Jake was eager to locate a moose, and we did indeed find one that approached our bus and licked the windows. What an incredible moment! On our return, we spotted what was likely the same moose drinking from the river. We wrapped up the tour as the sun set, capturing breathtaking photos of the mountains bathed in evening light. This was truly a remarkable experience, with favorable weather and an outstanding guide in Jake. Thank you.
We encountered an incredible amount of wildlife on our tour, including the Canadian ‘Big 3’ - elk, a bear, and multiple moose. A huge thanks to our guide Sam, whose genuine passion and enthusiasm for wildlife made our experience remarkable. The tour exceeded the promised 3 hours, which we appreciated, especially since we got to see moose! It was truly an exceptional outing.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Jasper evening wildlife tour. Sam was an outstanding guide with a wealth of knowledge. He extended our time to maximize our opportunities for wildlife sightings. We encountered elk, eagles, osprey, a black bear, a beaver dam, and harlequin ducks. I highly recommend this experience.
An excellent opportunity to observe wildlife. Jake was punctual for our pick-up, despite putting in a long day. He guided us to see a black bear, moose, elk, coyote, mule deer, osprey, eagle, big horned sheep, ground squirrels, and white-tailed deer. His knowledge and insights were impressive. Prepare for the experience to exceed the advertised duration.
Our evening with Jake as our driver was truly remarkable. We encountered all the animals we had hoped to see, and Jake provided excellent insights into Jasper's wildlife and nature. It was simply a fantastic evening, enjoying the wildlife from the safety of the bus with Jake.
Sam, our guide, provided a wealth of fascinating information and guided us superbly, ensuring we encountered numerous animals. We saw Bald eagles, Ospreys, Mountain goats, plenty of deer and Elk, including one of the three largest males in the region, plus a moose. He also took us back to our camper at the end.
We participated in an evening tour led by Ross, who was very knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife. We were fortunate to spot various deer, sheep, elk, and bald eagles, although the mice and bears remained elusive. The small tour group allowed Ross to ensure that no one was left behind at the stops. The bus was comfortable and punctual. This enjoyable four-hour trip included ample restroom breaks and made stops to drop off guests back in Jasper. It's definitely worth doing.
Ross, our guide, was exceptionally friendly. His knowledge and stories greatly enriched our experience. We were also fortunate to spot a Grizzly Bear during the trip.
Jake, our guide, put in a remarkable effort to locate wildlife, bringing both success and humor to the experience. All participants on the tour were very satisfied.
What an amazing adventure! Trevor, Jake, and Mahmood were exceptional guides who shared extensive knowledge about Jasper’s wildlife, nature, and history. They impressively located numerous animals for us: beavers, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, an eagle, a red-tailed hawk, whitetail and mule deer, a young elk herd, two magnificent bull elk with impressive antlers, and a stunning grizzly bear. The whole experience was conducted with professionalism, while remaining friendly, joyful, and thrilling.
