Wildlife, forests, gardens, and the green pockets of Guernsey that make it bearable in monsoon and beautiful by November. Day trips and short drives where the landscape is the point.
1Two hours on a licensed passenger vessel — scenic coastal views, historical insights, and opportunities to spot local wildlife.
“We enjoyed a personalized 3-hour cruise that included swimming stops. The boat and crew were outstanding, making for an incredible experience for all of us, including Robbie the dog.”— janinelH816UY
2Two-hour boat tour around Guernsey — explore coastal scenery, local wildlife, and historical insights with an experienced crew.
“This experience was beyond what we anticipated. The boat was simple with hard wooden seating and boarding was somewhat challenging, but it departed and arrived on schedule. The 30-minute cruise to Bordeaux led us to an exceptional seafood tasting menu that included oysters, scallops, crab bruschetta, mussels with fries, and a lobster taster. I highly recommend it, though I suggest offering improved steps for passengers when boarding and disembarking.”— mandylemess
3Join a licensed vessel for a 1.5-hour tour around Guernsey’s coastline, featuring stunning views and local wildlife.
“The evening we went was delightful with calm seas and a gentle breeze. The boat navigated through exciting narrow channels southeast of Herm, making its way to Puffin Bay, and we spotted puffins amidst the rocks. While the puffins on the water were easy to see, those on land were harder to spot due to the sun's glare. We then headed north to a beautiful sandy beach that rivaled those of the Scilly Isles. Unfortunately, instead of completing the circuit, we turned back via the southern route of Jethou. I would have loved to continue around and explore the harbor and anchorage on the island's western side to learn more about it. A display showing the chart plotter output would enhance the experience, allowing guests to appreciate the captain's navigation through the reefs.”— ColinP87
