The lighthouse, which has been restored by the Door County Historical Society, serves as a tribute to the keepers who maintained the light during challenging conditions. It is located along Highway 42 by Green Bay and borders Peninsula State Park, which is where the tour begins. • Within Peninsula State Park, kayakers will paddle along Nicolet Bay, heading towards Svens Bluff and the striking Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. • Recognized as Wisconsin's most comprehensive park, Peninsula State Park boasts over 460 campsites, three group camping areas, a summer theater, an 18-hole golf course, a sandy beach, biking trails, a lighthouse, and eight miles of Door County's shoreline.
