We had a wonderful experience on the bluffs trip with our family. With two guides for our group of ten kayakers, they ensured our safety while making it an enjoyable outing. Everyone, from ages 11 to 67, had a great time.
This experience was absolutely worth the cost. Our guide, Jackson, taught us the basics of kayaking, and by the return trip, we felt like experts. He shared fascinating historical insights about the sites we explored, making the tour even better. The views were breathtaking; every glance revealed something new, almost unreal. The hike was easy, and the vista from the bluff was stunning. We enjoyed a picnic featuring local cuisine before kayaking back. This is a must-try activity.
This was an excellent outing! Evan proved to be an incredible guide, providing us with plenty of details about our surroundings and offering support when necessary. Our group of seven, which included four teenagers, had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this active and historical experience in Door County.
Eli and Jake, known as Sugar and Spice, were exceptional guides. I thoroughly enjoyed their company, along with the stunning views, high-quality equipment, and engaging interactions. They certainly deserve a raise.
Spending a few hours on the water was wonderful! Our guide, Jackson, was friendly and well-informed about the region. I highly recommend this experience! The views are stunning, even if it's a bit eerie to go over a shipwreck and see it just beneath you.
The scenery was stunning. Jon, our delightful tour guide, made sure we were safe while guiding us through an enjoyable day of kayaking. Thank you.
We had an incredible time. Due to the weather, we switched from the cave tours to the bluffs, and our guide was fantastic—very engaging and well-informed about Door County’s history. She also provided excellent food suggestions once we finished paddling. Overall, a definite 5-star experience!
I initially registered for the Cave Point kayak tour, but due to unfavorable weather conditions, it was canceled. Door County Kayak Tours informed me a day in advance and provided several alternative options. I chose the Death's Door tour and had a fantastic experience. The scenery was beautiful, and I gained a lot of knowledge. Madeline was an excellent guide.
It was a lovely day spent on the water. Our guides, Jake and Drew, were entertaining and well-organized. Their enthusiasm for their work made the experience truly enjoyable.
Our party of seven participated in the Bluffs and Shipwrecks Ellison Bay Kayak Tour, led by Jackson, who was fantastic. He was personable, humorous, and knowledgeable, taking extra time to address our inquiries and highlight interesting land formations. He even captured group photos while we were out on the water. The experience was wonderful, and the weather couldn’t have been better. We appreciate Jackson for creating lasting memories of Door County for our group.
