AK Bucket List Tours turned out to be perfect for my friend Celia and me, two seniors eager for memorable experiences. This was my fourth visit to Alaska and Celia’s first. The state's stunning beauty and friendly locals keep drawing me back. On my last trip to Fairbanks in 2025, I took the same tour and had a fantastic time. I reached out to Gina to see if she was still guiding tours, and to my delight, I discovered she now owns AK Bucket List Tours. Without hesitation, I signed up. During our week, I had Gina organize all our activities, and we were fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights three times on our excursions. Gina is incredibly dedicated to her clients, adjusting tours to fit our preferences. We enjoyed a visit to a museum, shopped at a Vintage Festival where I found unique jewelry, and explored a wood bowl factory. We also stopped at a local bakery for delicious pastries and finished our day at a chowder house with amazing sandwiches, pasta, and desserts to bring back to our Airbnb. Gina knows all the best spots and treats you like a VIP. We spent our last day relaxing and enjoying everything. Additionally, it's worth noting that tour guides appreciate tips, which can make a significant difference for them financially. Gina’s passion for Alaska and her enthusiasm truly enhanced this tour. At every stop, we never felt rushed, with ample time for shopping at the Santa Claus House and taking pictures on Santa’s throne, visiting the Alaska Bowl Company, exploring the Museum at the University of Alaska, and more. She went the extra mile, even offering to take me through the McDonald's drive-thru when I realized I hadn’t eaten before the tour. That’s personal service!
