November isn't ideal for this experience. It was very cold, and the vehicle is open. If you are prone to motion sickness, it's advisable to prepare beforehand. We didn’t spot any wildlife; we encountered more on our own explorations.

My husband, our teenage daughter, and I found the experience exceeded her expectations. The scenery was stunning and truly breathtaking. We capped off the tour with some hot cocoa, courtesy of the wonderful Fritz, while enjoying classic John Denver music. I highly recommend this tour—it’s a must if you’re visiting Estes Park!
We enjoyed a fantastic time on the Rocky Mountain Winter Safari Tour with Green Jeep Tours LLC on May 25th, 2026. Our guide Pat was enthusiastic, personable, and well-informed about the region and its wildlife. He worked hard to help us spot elk, moose, mule deer, and turkeys, taking us to the best locations, which made the experience unforgettable.
Our family of three from Texas enjoyed an incredible tour in May 2026 amidst the snowfall, guided by Sam. He was very accommodating when we encountered wildlife, including mule deer, numerous elk, a moose, turkey, and a magpie. We made several wonderful stops at scenic locations. This guided tour comes highly recommended as it enables everyone to take in the views. I would love to repeat this experience!
