Reviews
Our experience on the Retractable Glass Top Tour in Rocky Mountain National Park was incredible. Wesley, our guide, was outstanding, sharing a wealth of information about the park’s history, wildlife, and unique local stories, which kept us engaged throughout the trip. We began with the glass top open, enjoying the beauty, but the 27.5 inches of fresh snow from the previous day made it quite cold. We appreciated being able to close the top at our first stop, allowing us to remain warm while still taking in the stunning scenery. We were also impressed by the thoughtful extras provided at no extra charge, such as bottled water, Coke products, hot chocolate, and freshly brewed coffee available in the vehicle. The hiking sticks offered were particularly useful on the icy paths. Wesley’s enthusiastic and friendly demeanor made the tour even better. He also provided great recommendations for local restaurants and shared interesting facts about the Stanley Hotel, enhancing our experience. We highly recommend this tour for anyone planning to visit Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park. It was informative, comfortable, enjoyable, and completely worth the time.
We thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic tour. Our guide, Zak, was exceptional and shared a wealth of information. The open roof added to the experience, making it even better. We highly recommend it.
Dave, our tour guide, was exceptional and very well-informed. He provided us with a wealth of historical information and biology facts. We spotted many wildlife species, including Elk and Moose. Dave also took us to picturesque locations, including a brief hike to a waterfall and stunning mountain views. I highly recommend the Rocky Mountain Experience tour with Dave.
We truly enjoyed our time on the tour. Zac provided a wealth of information and went above and beyond to share the history of the park while ensuring we encountered various wildlife. I highly recommend this for anyone who is not familiar with the park.
The tour was excellent, and our guide Dave was fantastic. He had an impressive depth of knowledge on a wide range of topics.
The tour was truly incredible. The scenery is far more stunning in person than any photos can convey. Our guide, Dave, was fantastic; he was informative and knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of information about the landscape and its history. Throughout the tour, we were provided with drinks and snacks. I highly recommend this experience.
The ride was comfortable, the views were stunning, and our tour guide was both knowledgeable and friendly. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it.
Dave was fantastic! The experience in the Rocky Mountains was extraordinary. I highly recommend it, especially if you request to see the albino mountain lions.
The Purple Points Tour Company provided an incredible experience. My boyfriend and I visited Estes for our anniversary and joined a tour on Sunday, May 3. Booking was easy, and the location downtown was very convenient. The staff was excellent, explaining everything we needed to know, offering drinks and snacks, and ensuring our comfort while we waited for the bus. The bus arrived on time and featured a retractable roof that allowed for 360-degree views, plus reclining seats for added comfort. There were only two groups, so we had a private feeling. Onboard, we enjoyed snacks, chips, candy, coffee, hot chocolate, and soda. Our tour guide Chris was outstanding, sharing his vast knowledge of the park's history and other U.S. parks. His humor and dedication to making our experience special were evident, and we even spotted two moose, elk, and deer. He was also very helpful with blankets, photography, and restaurant recommendations. Chris is an excellent choice for a guide. The driver was attentive and skilled, handling turns and parking expertly, though I can’t recall his name. We would certainly take this tour again once the ridge and Fall River are open.
This was a wonderful family outing for anyone wanting to explore Rocky Mountain National Park without the need for hiking. Chris was an excellent tour guide, and the snacks and beverages provided were a nice touch.
