This two-hour class in Estes Park teaches the fundamentals of fused glass art. You'll learn how to cut glass into various shapes and layers, culminating in a unique fused glass pendant that reflects your personal style. Once your pendant is created, you will also design and string a custom beaded necklace to showcase it.
Due to the firing process, your finished pieces won't be ready for immediate pickup. If you attend the session at 11:00 AM, you can collect your necklace by 7:00 PM on the same day during summer. For later sessions, pieces will need to be picked up the following day, but shipping can be arranged for a small fee of $5 if needed.

The instructor introduced us to the fundamentals of glass-fusing and then allowed us total creative freedom in designing our pendants, resulting in unique pieces. While our pendants were firing in the kiln, we crafted our own necklaces using various beads to complement them. Since the pendants take four hours to cool, we couldn't see the final products before departing. With an early departure from Estes Park the next day, we opted to have the necklaces mailed to our home.
We had a fantastic time! It was an excellent team-building experience. Natalie and Alaina provided great assistance. It was a relaxing afternoon with the soothing sound of the river as we explored our creative abilities.
