  Superb snorkel trip with reefs and turtle sightings

  The location was easy to find, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. After a brief boat ride and safety instructions, we got into the water. The guides were friendly and skilled, taking us to several coral reefs abundant with diverse fish species. The standout moment was seeing two turtles feeding; we would have missed them without the guides' expertise. We spent an hour in the sea, and upon our return, there were shower facilities available. Overall, it was an outstanding trip and a great value.

  Excellent experience

  Snorkeling offers a chance to observe various species living in the coral reef. The staff is very attentive and well-trained, ensuring an unforgettable experience. If you're in Mahahual, this is a must-do activity. We even searched for turtles and successfully spotted one. I highly recommend it.

  Worth the time and money

  The tour exceeded my expectations and delivered exactly what was promised. Our guide Nana and captain Neto were both very friendly and skilled. During our hour in the water, we encountered several giant turtles and a stingray. The staff at the dive shop was also very helpful.

  Safe and fun snorkeling

  I had a wonderful and secure snorkeling experience during this trip. As a 70-year-old woman, I went while my partner was busy working. I felt well cared for by the crew, Neto and Nano. We encountered two large sea turtles and plenty of fascinating fish in the stunning blue Caribbean Sea.

  The small boat accommodated five people with two crew members, providing a highly personalized experience. We encountered numerous sea turtles and stingrays, and the price was very reasonable for what we received. I highly recommend this tour.

  I had to cancel my tour because of inclement weather, but I was really impressed with the service. They reached out to me hours in advance to explain potential issues like poor visibility. They allowed me to decide whether to proceed or cancel with a full refund, which I appreciated, especially given the urgency of my request.

  This is a scam

  This experience was completely a scam. After registering, contacting Mar Adentro is nearly impossible. The meeting location was unfamiliar to local taxi drivers, and no one in Mahahual had any information about Mar Adentro. Avoid losing money like I did. Instead, head straight to Mahahual beach, where they will take you out for $20 each, although it wasn't very impressive. I did see a few fish. If Roatan is one of your stops, consider waiting for it and use the public access at West Bay. I recommend reaching out to Victor Bodden online for his services; you won’t have to pay in advance and avoid getting scammed like this.
