This experience was fantastic! It offered a lot of inclusions and the staff was very welcoming. Although getting there posed a challenge, we eventually found the taxis outside the port, which took us to Pirate Beach Club for just $5 per person. The beach itself is stunning, situated along a road lined with vendors selling souvenirs, t-shirts, knock-offs, and other interesting items. They also provide hair braiding and other services right on the beach. The lunch was tasty, and the snorkeling was a fun addition. I enjoyed a great deep tissue massage, which was clean and relaxing. This was our fifth visit to Coasta Maya, and we hadn't discovered this beach until now. It was our best trip yet!
The team is incredibly friendly and willing to assist. The beach and water are stunning, and both the drinks and service were outstanding. Enjoying a massage by the beach is the ultimate relaxation. Snorkeling was also excellent. I highly recommend this and would return. The only downside was the vendors trying to sell souvenirs, but they respect your space if you're in the water or by the beach.
The timing of our visit wasn't ideal due to our ship arriving late, which left us with very little time at the beach before it closed. The massage was enjoyable, but I would have preferred a more private setting instead of being in the open. While the drinks were limited, they were good, but I found the food to be underwhelming.
The massage was incredible, and I really appreciated the comfort of the covered beach chair. The snorkeling guides were patient with my lack of experience. Although the drinks were diluted, the service was polite. I would certainly do this again.
Our experience was fantastic! The highlight was snorkeling with a sea turtle just a few inches away. However, the sea conditions were rough, and the guide should have been more cautious given our swimming abilities. Some needed to return to the boat, while others requested flotation devices. Nonetheless, it was still a worthwhile experience. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks were great. The beach loungers were comfortable, but we could have done without the frequent sales interruptions, which happened several times an hour. The massage was enjoyable, though I questioned the therapists' training. Given that local massages cost around $20 per hour and meals were similarly priced, the overall cost felt a bit high. But the convenience and the hosts' friendliness made it worthwhile. Our driver seemed uncertain about where to drop us, prompting us to walk a couple of blocks to find the restaurant, which was a modest place with limited seating. Overall, we had a lovely day with wonderful hosts.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I really enjoy Costa Maya and other private excursions and beaches, but this one was simply awful. I strongly advise against booking this excursion.
All the inclusions were exactly as described, making for a highly professional and enjoyable experience. The snorkeling was a highlight, as we got to see wild turtles up close. Massages and drinks were readily available throughout the day. It's advisable to bring cash for the quirky vendors selling various items.
I strongly recommend this location. The snorkeling and massage experiences were fantastic! Additionally, they serve the best piña colada I’ve ever tasted. I would definitely return.
Don't pay attention to the other beach vendors if you have a reservation. The taxi ride costs $5 per person and was enjoyable. Just continue along the boardwalk until you reach your destination. The included massage was fantastic.
The experience was truly fantastic. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, even with my Spanglish, and ensured a delightful time. Everything was thoroughly explained and aligned perfectly with the itinerary. Balthazar and Ernesto were attentive, and Ernesto did an excellent job highlighting various fish and sea creatures. After snorkeling, the massage was fantastic, and our waiter was outstanding, always ensuring our drinks were topped up and scheduling our activities efficiently. This experience was worth every penny, and the entire team was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to returning to Pitaya Beach Club on my next visit to Costa Maya!
