It was built around the 7th century CE and exemplifies Dravidian architectural style. • The Government Museum, found in the Government Museum Complex in Egmore, Chennai, focuses on human history and culture. Founded in 1851, it is the second oldest museum in India, following the Indian Museum in Kolkata, and ranks as the tenth oldest museum globally.
