This tour was incredibly informative. We returned and shared the stories with our family in Chattanooga, and they gained a deeper understanding of this beautiful city. Highly recommended.
The tour guide spoke quite rapidly, which made it hard to follow him. Additionally, the presence of his wife and ferret during the tour was not appreciated. Although he had a good amount of knowledge, he often lost his train of thought. With time and a slower pace, he could enhance his presentation.
The driver provided a wealth of detail about the topics he was passionate about. However, I struggled to hear him clearly while on the move, even with hearing aids, and only understood him well when he had stopped and spoke directly to us.
The train driver offered plenty of interesting historical facts about Chattanooga. It’s important to note that you should bring your own water despite the no-beverages policy, as the trolley can become quite warm and the air conditioning was not very effective.
This was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We explored a significant part of the city and saw many attractions. The museum tour was also impressive. I would certainly recommend this for anyone visiting Chattanooga early on, as it provides great ideas for later activities.
A wonderful opportunity to explore the Coker Museum and National Cemetery. There is a wealth of local and relevant national historical insights to be gained.
The tour was overall enjoyable and worth the cost. However, the tour operator/driver occasionally had difficulty speaking clearly and seemed to lose track of his speech at times.
I highly recommend this experience. Our guide was well-informed about Chattanooga and its history, and he shared some jokes during the tour. Donna’s cute pet ferret that joined us was delightful. The visit to the Coker Museum was fantastic, showcasing vehicles and motorcycles from the 1900s. It was amazing to see these historical pieces up close and learn about them. My sister and I had a great time; definitely consider doing this when in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Craig and his wife were friendly, but the tour did not meet our expectations. Although Craig was knowledgeable and spoke continuously, my husband and I struggled to hear him, which diminished our experience. The tour felt lengthy because of this, and we were relieved when it concluded. We spent an excessive amount of time at the start visiting the Coker museum without guidance until the owner directed us, and there was also too much time spent at the National cemetery. Overall, I found the tour to be overpriced given the limited information we gained.
The experience was highly informative, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Even as semi-locals, we discovered many new and fascinating insights. It's an excellent way to spend an afternoon.
