Reviews
Wear comfortable shoes as there is some walking involved, with uneven surfaces like cobblestone and riverstone streets. Fin, our guide, was not only knowledgeable and personable but also truly passionate about the topic. His explanations were clear and he encouraged questions. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
This was an outstanding tour that provided wonderful insights into Charleston's background and history. Our guide, Fin Proctor, was exceptional. I highly recommend it.
Our guide, Fin Smith, was extremely knowledgeable about Charleston and made the tour engaging and fun. The two-hour experience barely scratched the surface of the significant events from our nation's early history. Fin effectively transports you back in time, showcasing actual locations and artifacts that remain unchanged. As someone who isn't particularly interested in history, I found it fascinating. If you have any interest in our nation's history, this tour is a must. We also had a brief 10-minute break for restrooms and water, which was sufficient. I highly recommend this tour; it covers a lot in just the right amount of time.
This tour was both informative and enjoyable. Our guide, Brian, was exceptional. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in Charleston's history.
This experience was fantastic. It was incredibly interesting, and we gained so much knowledge. I truly believe we had the best tour guide; Brian was exceptional.
The tour was excellent, featuring a guide with extensive knowledge. The history was presented in an engaging way, making it a great experience while enjoying the horse-drawn carriage ride.
This tour was highly informative, with Brian sharing many intriguing facts that are often overlooked in similar experiences. The pace was comfortable, allowing for breaks along the way. However, be aware that there are no bathroom facilities at the meeting point, so it's best to go beforehand. Restrooms are available at the theater midway through the tour. I would definitely recommend it.
This experience is essential. The leisurely 1.5-mile stroll included purposeful pauses, allowing us to absorb a lot. With our guide, Fin, we gained valuable insights into Charleston's history during the informative two-hour tour.
