St. Michael's Church is a historic Anglican church located on the corner of Broad and Meeting Streets in Charleston, built in the early 18th century. Its striking white steeple, which rises 186 feet, is a prominent feature of the city's skyline, and the church's interior is notable for its elegant box pews and rich woodwork. Visitors usually spend time reflecting in the churchyard and admire the intricately designed grave markers of prominent local figures. The best time to visit is during the day for the natural light that highlights the church's architectural details. Nearby landmarks include the old city market and the historic Charleston City Hall.

Two-hour guided tour through Charleston's French Quarter and South of Broad, exploring architecture and unique stories about the city's past.

Our guide, Fin Smith, was extremely knowledgeable about Charleston and made the tour engaging and fun. The two-hour experience barely scratched the surface of the significant events from our nation's early history. Fin effectively transports you back in time, showcasing actual locations and artifacts that remain unchanged. As someone who isn't particularly interested in history, I found it fascinating. If you have any interest in our nation's history, this tour is a must. We also had a brief 10-minute break for restrooms and water, which was sufficient. I highly recommend this tour; it covers a lot in just the right amount of time.Jennifer_K on the Historic walking tour of Charleston's French Quarter and South of Broad tour
