Orelvis was our guide for the city tour, which left me somewhat let down, but both he and our driver E. Richard were fantastic. We chose this tour because it mentioned the historical fort and cathedral. However, upon boarding, we drove straight to the fort, where we realized we wouldn't be getting off. Our guide shared some history during a brief stop, and then we continued on to the city center, where we visited a souvenir shop for a short demonstration on real versus fake amber, followed by a 15-minute walk to the central park. Complimentary water was provided, which was appreciated given the heat. Although the cathedral was in the central park, our guide mentioned it was closed due to the local siesta from 12-1:30 PM, so we could only take photos of the exterior. We then walked to Umbrella Street and were invited to view a presentation on agriculture and chocolate at another shop, which felt somewhat orchestrated given the timing of the tour. After about 15 minutes, we returned to the bus for our trip to Monkeyland (which I'll review separately). Overall, the city tour offered a decent overview along with shopping stops, but I believe my disappointment stemmed from a lack of clarity in the tour description, which might be an issue with Runners Adventures or Royal Caribbean. I'd be interested in a more detailed tour and would definitely choose our guide and driver again.
Maltis and Orlando were both professional and friendly, making for an overall positive experience. I highly recommend this tour for those wanting to see a wide variety of attractions.
The tour was enjoyable and included some interesting historical facts. We traveled by bus from Taingo port to the town center and walked from the souvenir shop to the pink street, the cathedral, the main square, and the umbrella market. Our driver, Jose, was outstanding, and special thanks to our tour guide Junior, who did a fantastic job of keeping the group organized and providing an informative experience.
Jose Rojas was knowledgeable, amusing, and ready to address all our questions. I would definitely join him for another tour. Berny dedicated plenty of time to ensure we all interacted with the monkeys multiple times. This was the finest monkey experience I've ever had.

This city tour was very well organized. Fabio, the driver, and Matias, the guide, were outstanding. Matias took the extra effort to explain everything in three languages: English, Spanish, and German. The tour included hotel pick-up and drop-off, along with lunch. I highly recommend it.
