Illana was an excellent tour guide, especially since we faced heavy rain upon arrival, which continued intermittently during the tour. She made sure to share interesting facts and provided plenty of opportunities for photos. We decided to skip the rum tasting and cigar making, which resulted in a slightly shorter tour.
Visiting Puerto Plata this way is fantastic. Francisco and Edgar were excellent hosts. We explored the rum distillery, a jewelry factory, and a cigar factory, and enjoyed the historical sites of the port city. This was the best investment we've made. I strongly recommend it.
Carlos was fantastic! He was very accommodating and let us choose our own activities. He even took one of our group members to the grocery store and another to the post office. The attractions he selected were ideal! We had a wonderful day! I can't praise Carlos enough; he truly made our day special!
This tour provided an excellent insight into the stunning Puerto Plata. Edgar and Francisco were wonderful hosts, showing us patience, kindness, and respect. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the highlights like Umbrella Street and the pink street. The duration was just right to return to the resort for some beach time. We appreciated the personal touch with our own photographer. Edgar even helped arrange transportation to another city. Communication was also excellent. Thank you!
