Ashley was a fantastic guide, keeping everyone calm and involved throughout our trip. As it was the final weekend of the season, the river was low, leading to more floating time. I would have appreciated knowing about the fun option to jump off a 10ft rock into the Arkansas river, as I had quick dry clothing and took the plunge, while my husband, in less suitable attire, did not. We both wish he had been better informed for preparation. We plan to return as "advanced" rafters.

We had an incredible time on the Brown's Canyon Half Day tour with Mikey. As first-time rafters, we were a bit anxious, but Mikey made it the best part of our trip. His humor during the safety briefing had us laughing, easing our nerves right away. He demonstrated extensive knowledge of the Arkansas River, identifying each rapid and sharing fascinating history and geology that felt personalized. Mikey's balance of reassurance and playful teasing made the experience enjoyable. We navigated the challenging spots as he advised, mostly stayed in the boat, and couldn't stop smiling at the end of the day. Performance Tours is lucky to have him, and we’re already planning our return, specifically to raft with Mikey again. Booking him is a must.
