An excellent outdoor experience. Although we were fit, we lacked extensive mountain biking skills. Our guide was outstanding; he challenged us while also teaching us techniques and monitoring our progress. The mountains were stunning, but unfortunately, cloud cover obscured views of the waterways. Despite that, it was definitely worth it, and we would gladly participate again on our next trip.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our eMountain bike adventure. Our guide was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The bikes were new and in great shape. Despite the cold, foggy, and cloudy weather obscuring the views, we had a wonderful time. Although we were inexperienced mountain bikers, the electric assistance made the ride enjoyable and manageable.
Ola was exceptional - truly a wonderful person. He customized our outing, initially for just my husband and me, but happily included two new friends on short notice. We enjoyed an ebike tour to the cliff tops, taking in stunning coastal views. None of us were seasoned cyclists, ranging from 50 to 70 years old, but the high-quality ebikes made it easy, and Ola chose a perfect route for us. We paused at the Viking Ship Museum for a snack and thoroughly enjoyed the adventure, which was both fun and a good value. Following that, he drove us to Saltstraumen, timing our visit to coincide with the high tide for an incredible experience. It's a must-see, especially when paired with the bike ride. The bike shop was simple to locate, just a short walk from the cruise docks. I highly recommend reaching out to Ola to organize your trip, and I'm grateful for a wonderful day. This was an incredible adventure. The mountain bikes were impressive, allowing us to tackle steep climbs effortlessly. Ola provided outstanding guidance and support, making it easy for those of us who aren't mechanically inclined. We enjoyed breathtaking views of Sweden and Iceland from the summit, along with beautiful streams and fascinating history. It was an empowering experience that truly let us feel the magic of Bodo. The mountain e-bike ride was an incredible experience. As an intermediate mountain biker, I enjoy climbing but tend to be careful on descents. My guide, Ilo, was patient and offered valuable tips to enhance my ride. He provided insights into local history and took me to stunning viewpoints to appreciate the beauty of Bodo. I highly recommend this tour. I went on a Sunday morning, when the town was quiet, so I had the ride all to myself. For a busier experience, consider scheduling it for another day.
We joined the e-mountain bike tour at the end of August, and it was truly spectacular. Ola, our guide, expertly tailored the route for our intermediate mountain biking skill level. Despite the gray weather, the views from the Kaisers Vaerden and along the ridgeline were stunning. We tackled some tough single track and mud, but the bikes performed excellently both uphill and downhill. This experience was a highlight of our trip to Norway, and we would happily return for more rides in the future.
Our trip with the guide was truly enjoyable! The bicycles were excellent, and the entire experience was pleasant. However, if you can, I recommend discussing the route in greater detail with the guide beforehand. We ended up on a shorter route that included just one viewpoint because the guide thought we might be too tired, even though we had mentioned we could handle more. Ultimately, it was quite manageable, but for the best experience, clarifying the route in advance is advisable.
