This was the second tour with Ivar on our trip, and it exceeded our expectations. He provided the option to either stick to the set itinerary or create a customized hiking and sightseeing experience around Bodo. The weather was perfect, and Ivar was instrumental in maximizing our enjoyment of it. He is incredibly accommodating and laid-back. He took us to a special place he enjoys with his family and facilitated conversations with locals. He captured stunning photos during our excursion and offered great advice on places to explore independently, which was spot on. Ivar is attentive to your preferences and makes thoughtful recommendations. If I return to Bodo, I will definitely seek out Ivar again.
My experience hiking in Hidding Valley was fantastic. The guide was very friendly and easy to converse with, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. This hike is great for beginners—challenging enough to be fulfilling but not overly strenuous. The views were stunning and truly magical. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone in Bodø seeking a tranquil outdoor experience. I really appreciated the photos Ivar took and shared with me; they were a lovely touch.
This hike is a must-do if you're stopping in Bodo. The journey to the hidden valley begins with stunning mountain views and, if you're lucky, remarkable sights of the Saltstraumen. The hike itself is reasonably easy, but it's advisable to wear good, sturdy hiking boots as some areas can be muddy. The final viewpoint is absolutely stunning, and the entire trek is simply incredible. If you keep a steady pace, Ivar has a knack for spotting reindeer and moose, providing a memorable and close-up experience to wrap up the tour.
