  Delightful ride!

  We enjoyed a wonderful ride. Safety was a top priority, and we were provided with helmets and Hit-Air vests, which act like airbags for the chest in case of a fall. The horses, Ty and Maverick, were calm and reliable. Our journey took us through the forest and along the river, avoiding any open areas, and we occasionally encountered walkers with dogs on the trail. Alongside insights into the geographic history of the river and lava flows, we were treated to magnificent views of the river, transitioning from rapids to calm waters. If you're a fan of horses and nature, I highly recommend Wilderness Horse Adventures.

  Great beginner ride!

  The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. My wife and I, with our limited riding experience, felt well taken care of as the guides took extra time to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our ride.

  Getting back to nature was very relaxing

  I spent a couple of days alone and decided to take a 2-hour horseback ride along the river. It was a truly delightful experience! Vinnie, my guide, was very attentive, and Maverick, my horse, was steady and reliable. I hadn't ridden in ages, and the tour was a perfect way to unwind in nature.

  Beautiful Deschutes River Trail Ride

  The guide demonstrated a high level of knowledge and was very supportive, which helped me feel comfortable. The horse was beautiful and the ride was lovely. I highly recommend this trail experience for beginner to intermediate riders.

  A bit of a wild ride

  I highly recommend this beautiful horseback ride, but my horse hadn’t been fed a full breakfast, which made him quite restless. As a result, there were many stops and starts. Fortunately, I had some experience, but he did gallop often. The guide was upfront about his temperament, and although my horse wasn't as steady as the others, I still enjoyed the tour. The guide was really nice and even sent photos at the end of the tour, which was a thoughtful touch.

  Unforgettable experience of a lifetime

  My son and I treated my wife to a 2.5-hour trail ride along the Deschutes River for her birthday, and it turned out to be a perfect day. Sharyn and Vinnie were friendly and professional, and the horses, Tye and Maverick, were beautiful and gentle. Sharyn's insights about the area added to our memorable experience. My wife is still talking about how special and unforgettable it was. We definitely plan to return. Thank you!
