The lake was incredibly beautiful, and our guide Rune was outstanding. I highly recommend this kayaking adventure to anyone who has the opportunity to partake in it.
Dylan, our guide from Australia, shared his extensive knowledge about the Bend and Cascade lakes region and its geology, making the experience incredibly informative. His enthusiasm for the area truly enriched our trip. The scenery on Hosmer Lake was stunning, and with a small group, we were able to engage in meaningful conversations with him and another couple, which was a pleasant addition. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking adventure and I would strongly recommend it.
The guide was very knowledgeable, and the scenery was stunning. I gained a lot of insight into the formation of the lake and the movement of water.
The tour was stunning, and the guide provided plenty of informative commentary. I would definitely do this again. However, water and snacks were not given as promised.
Brian was our guide, and he was fantastic. He shared an abundance of knowledge about the geology and history of Bend and its surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely consider booking with Wanderlust on our next visit.
I had a wonderful experience with my son and highly recommend it. We had a fantastic time, and I'm looking forward to returning for another visit in the winter. Thank you.
The staff made us feel welcomed, the drive included engaging conversations and fascinating insights about Bend, and kayaking on Paulina Lake was a lovely way to explore the area.
The Cascade Lakes canoe tour with Wanderlust Tours was an amazing experience. Our guide Jeannie was fantastic—she was knowledgeable, humorous, and kept us organized while making navigation simple. The paddle was relaxed, and the calm water felt like gliding on glass. The scenery was stunning, featuring Mt. Bachelor and the Sisters in the background, surrounded by tall pines. We even spotted some ducks and plenty of trout beneath the canoe. It was a lovely day in Bend.
My husband and I felt a bit embarrassed about our inability to paddle straight, but our guide did a great job getting us on track by paddling near us. We also appreciated the informative briefings on the geology and hydrology of Lake Paulina and the Newberry Caldera.
Wanderlust tours truly stands out from the rest. The team's care and expertise shine through in every thoughtful detail. You won't regret choosing this experience!
