During my trip to Oregon with my parents, I was thrilled to schedule a visit. Unfortunately, I mistakenly booked for June instead of May. However, after speaking with Amanda, she kindly allowed us to come anyway. We had a wonderful tour, fed the alpacas, and relaxed in the pasture. If you're nearby, I highly recommend visiting. We truly appreciated Amanda's generosity and had a fantastic afternoon that we couldn't have asked for more.
This outing was incredibly enjoyable and tasty. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The alpacas were particularly adorable and sociable, especially when food was involved. We had a great time filled with laughter. The picnic was also delightful. My friends who visited deemed it the highlight of their weekend, as it was so unexpected.
This was truly one of our family's favorite activities during our recent visit to central Oregon. From beginning to end, it was a delightful experience. Louisa greeted us at a charming cafe, where we enjoyed complimentary drinks before following her on a short drive to the ranch. We met Amanda, the owner, along with her adorable dog, Mack. Amanda's enthusiasm was infectious as she shared her experiences as an equine and alpaca judge and prepared us for our time with the llamas and alpacas. We were introduced to several alpacas, including the majestic and sweet Llama named Dream Bella, who stayed by our side throughout our visit—Amanda mentioned this was quite special. We were led to a beautifully decorated picnic table in the field and given grain to feed the vibrant alpacas that surrounded us, which was a joy. The delicious charcuterie board and lovely lunches, including a gluten-free option for me, made the experience even better. While we ate, the alpacas remained close, and we enjoyed more time with them as well as with Amanda and Louisa afterward. The ranch setting was stunning with mountains in the backdrop. On our way back, we stopped in Sisters to shop at the Alpacas by Design store for some fleece-made items. It was a fantastic day, and I wish I lived closer so I could visit more frequently. I highly recommend this unique and fun-filled family experience to anyone.
You should definitely visit this fantastic farm. We had a delightful time being surrounded by many alpacas, who allowed us to pet and feed them. It was such a charming experience and truly the highlight of our trip.
This was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a lot of fun feeding the alpacas and observing the babies. They are such beautiful and curious animals. The guide was fantastic, and we gained a lot of knowledge! The lunch was excellent as well. I would happily do this again. Thank you!
