1Enjoy a private, exclusive tour with your own local guide. On this full day tour, we will drive pass the Lapau (the Royal Ceremonial Hall), the Dewan Majlis (Parliament House) and the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque as well as visit the Tamu (Open Market), the Malay Technology Museum, the Maritime Museum, and the tomb of the fifth Sultan of Brunei - Sultan Bolkiah (1485 -1524). After lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue our tour by visiting the Royal Regalia Museum, stopping by at the Sultan’s Palace (Istana Nurul Iman) for photo taking sessions and then proceeding to the Water Village. We will end our tour by taking a boat ride at Water Village and stop at a local house where local refreshments (local cakes & tea) are served.
2The Ulu Temburong National Park is protected and preserved for scientific research and low impact visitors. This day excursion is a short immersion in this amazing environment, for people with limited time. An amazing snapshot to an environment that is well protected for all to see. - Immerse yourself in the dense rainforest of Ulu Temburong National Park - Ascend to the top of the rainforest, over 160 feet above the forest floor - Visit a waterfall and enjoy a foot treatment from the doctor fish that live by it - Ride a water tube down the Temburong River, if the water level allows - Take a speedboat and a temuai (longboat) to this hard-to-access park - Get a unique experience of life outside of Brunei’s tourist hotspots - Hotel pick-ups are provided so you can meet your speedboat on time
3This is an excellent whole day tour of Brunei for those who opt for the more detailed tour at a leisurely pace. The tour will start with a visit to :- - Tamu Kianggeh or the open air market, where most of the local products can be found - Royal Regalia, where you will see the collection of Royal jewel like the encrusted crown and other opulent symbols of Brunei Monarchy, - Istana Nurul Iman, the world largest residential palace, - Malay Technology Museum, a gallery which displays tributes to the lifestyles of Malays and Ethnic tribes of Brunei, - Omar Ali Saiffudien Mosque, considered as one of the most beautiful mosque on Southeast Asia, - ‘Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the largest and most significant mosque in Brunei - and lastly, Kampung Ayer which is known as the “Venice of the East” and have a house visit with a light refreshment (Malay traditional cuisine). See the luxurious Empire Hotel. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.
4If you want to escape the normal tourist trail and experience the authentic rural culture of some of the peoples of Brunei, then this day trip is for you! We visit places where old traditions are being kept alive by the Dusun, Kedayan, Tutong and Iban indigenous peoples, even though they're mostly living a very modern lifestyle nowadays. Activities are really dependant on who's around on the day - in the past, I have taken guests foraging for jungle foods, caught freshwater crayfish, learned rattan weaving, seen ambuyat made, practised tribal dances, listened to tales of jungle folklore and tasted honey direct from the hive
