02Enjoy a private, exclusive tour with your own local guide. This tour is a throwback to the golden age of Brunei Darussalam under the Sultan Bolkiah, the fifth Sultan of Brunei who expanded its commercial influence, while also spreading Islam to Southeast Asia. We will visit the Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque (National Mosque of Brunei), take pictures at the main entrance of Istana Nurul Iman (Sultan’s Palace), visit Sultan Sharif Ali Tomb (3rd Sultan of Brunei) and Tomb of Sultan Bolkiah (5th Sultan of Brunei). Then drive past The Lapau (the Royal Ceremonial Hall), Dewan Majlis (Parliament House), The Secretariat Building, Clock Tower & Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddin Park. We will visit The Malay Technology Museum. We will ride a boat to the Water Village and stop at local house where local refreshments (tea and cake) are being served. The tour ends after visiting Sultan Omar Ali Saiffuddien Mosque.

Depart from the airport, we will drive pass by Istana Edinburgh, Prime Minister Office, Government Office Complex, Legislative Council Building heading to the local restaurant for dinner. After dinner, we will do a panoramic drive to Bandar Seri Begawan by drive through RIPAS Bridge while enjoying the night view of Water Village, stop by at the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque for photo sessions, drive pass by the Istana Nurul Iman (Sultan’s Palace) where the Sultan resides and marvel at the grandeur of the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. The final stop is the Gadong night market where you can taste some local delicacies at your own expense and view the various types of vegetables, fruits and clothes on sale before transfer back to airport.

On this full day tour, we will drive pass the Lapau (the Royal Ceremonial Hall), the Dewan Majlis (Parliament House) and the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque as well as visit the Tamu (Open Market), the Malay Technology Museum, the Maritime Museum, and the tomb of the fifth Sultan of Brunei - Sultan Bolkiah (1485 -1524). 09The Ulu Temburong National Park is protected and preserved for scientific research and low impact visitors. This day excursion is a short immersion in this amazing environment, for people with limited time.
