Three hours on foot through Annecy's old town — five tastings including local wines, charcuterie, and desserts, all fully inclusive with no extra costs.
This three-hour food tour takes you through the picturesque old town of Annecy, exploring culinary delights while soaking in the city's charm. Starting at Le Pont des Amours, you'll visit five locations to sample local specialties: wines from the surrounding mountains, a selection of charcuterie, a traditional tartiflette, and unique sweets crafted by local artisans. The tasting experience is rounded off with Genepi, a herbal liqueur said to remedy all ills.
Along the way, you’ll hear stories about Annecy’s history and culture from your guide. Key sights include the Église Saint-François de Sales, Palais de l’isle, and the Fontaine Quiberet. As all tastings are included in the tour, it's convenient for you to enjoy this culinary exploration without worrying about costs.

I had an excellent tour with Jean, organized by localbin. It included cheese, wine, dessert, lunch, and fascinating history about Annecy. I’m grateful to Jean for letting me join his group after my original tour with witheat fell through when their guide didn't show up.
This was an excellent way to explore Annecy le Vieux and learn about the city. The food we sampled was authentic and local, making it a fantastic start to my visit in Annecy. Jean was not only kind but also very knowledgeable, offering great suggestions for activities beyond the tour.
My wife and I participated in this tour earlier this week and had a great time. It began with a gourmet cheese tasting at an award-winning cheese shop, paired with a small glass of white wine. We then enjoyed local tartiflette, sampled truffle products, indulged in a generous dessert, and finished with handmade chocolates. Our guide, Delphine, was excellent—friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the area and the food. So why the 4-star rating instead of 5? It primarily comes down to a "value for money" concern. Aside from the initial glass of wine and a tiny serving of truffle limoncello, the only available drinks were water. We estimated about 50 euros worth of food each, while the cost was around 150 euros. I would have preferred to sample some local fish dishes instead of so much cheese. However, these are relatively minor complaints. Overall, it was a delightful few hours exploring the streets and learning about the town's history.
The tour was enjoyable, but it didn't match the quality of those in other cities. I didn't feel like we truly experienced the authentic essence of Annecy.
A lovely way to mix enjoyment with learning. We had a nice visit while sampling food. While I hoped for more details about the city, the tour still aligned well with our interests.
We really enjoyed this stunning city, which is quite clean and features nice bike and footpaths around the lake for enjoyable walks. The nearby mountains are lovely, offering beautiful hikes. We even went paragliding, which was an extraordinary experience with breathtaking views. Overall, it was all wonderful.
This walking tour offers valuable insights into Annecy. While there are a few food stops, the tastings are quite limited. It would be beneficial to include food markets for an enhanced experience.
Our time with Sylvie, our guide, was exceptional. She shared a vast amount of knowledge and was genuinely enthusiastic about showcasing Annecy's remarkable culinary shops. We tasted an assortment of truffles, delectable jams, cheeses, and desserts, followed by a traditional French lunch in one of the tiniest restaurants I've visited. I highly recommend this experience.
I want to clarify that my issues lie with the tour itself rather than our guide, who was friendly. The tour was poorly represented in its description. 1. The photos and description promised a charcuterie tasting, which we did not receive. Additionally, the advertisement mentioned multiple wines, yet we only had one small pour from an already opened bottle shared among twelve. 2. Out of five stops, two were merely free samples that anyone could access without charge, and they were not exclusive to Annecy. 3. The total value of food provided throughout the tour was roughly 25-30 euros, which is disappointing given that this was the most costly food tour we took, at over $160 USD per person.
We had an excellent time led by a wonderful guide as we explored local food artisans while also enjoying some sightseeing. We sampled truffle products, savored a delicious tartiflette lunch, tasted cheese paired with wine, tried unique locally made preserves, and indulged in a dessert of our choice alongside our lovely guide Sylvie. Our group of eight was friendly, which made the experience even better.
