This tour takes you outdoors for a cozy “slow adventure” – a perfect way to spend an evening in good company on a leisurely local northern lights hunt. Along with conversation and local stories, if the conditions are right you might even have a chance to take a few pictures of the aurora in the sky!
5Explore breathtaking fjord landscapes and the wildlife of the Arctic while searching for the world’s largest mammal: the whale. In November to January, the orcas, humpback whales and other whales gather in the fjords close to Alta for their big herring-feast. These gentle giants enjoy their "food platter", and to witness this remarkable sight will give you memories for life. And this experience does not end here. The area is also home to the Arctic dolphins, the majestic sea eagle, with a wingspan up to 2.5 metres and other seabirds - species. We use different boats according to the size of the group and the weather conditions, but our local guide will always accompany our group. Under the boat transfer to the hot-spot and in periods when the whales are diving, you can stay inside in the warm cabin and enjoy hot chocolate and snacks. Embark with us on an unforgettable winter adventure in the Norwegian fjords and bring back home memories for a lifetime.

9When darkness falls over Northern Norway, something begins that can best be described as part adventure, part science project – and just a little bit of madness: the hunt for the Northern Lights. Because yes – finding the aurora is a small science in itself. It’s not just about luck or pretty boots. The adventure begins with a heartwarming visit to some of Northern Norway’s most charming creatures – llamas, alpacas, woolly pigs, and horses. After that and the sky darkens, the real journey begins. In a small, comfortable group – never more than eight people – we set out on a calm, fun, and slightly mysterious chase. Along the way, we warm up with hot drinks and a selection of Norwegian delicacies – carefully chosen treats that tell the story of local traditions and northern flavors. Sweet and savory bites – perhaps a little chocolate, something smoked, something unexpected – and it will for sure taste even better under the stars.
10Set out on snowmobiles, traversing snow-covered forests and ascending to vast mountain plains. Navigate the wintry terrain, keeping an eye out for Arctic wildlife. Upon reaching the expansive plains, find yourself surrounded by an endless sea of white, with only the distant horizon and crisp blue sky above. This is the true Arctic wilderness, where silence reigns supreme. Continue your journey to our secluded ice fishing spot. Try your hand at this traditional Arctic pastime, learning the techniques and patience required to lure fish beneath the frozen surface. As you wait for a bite, appreciate the profound stillness and beauty of your surroundings, listening to the whispers of the Arctic wind and the gentle crunch of snow beneath your feet.
