This 2-day tour comes highly recommended. Soraya is an excellent guide with a deep understanding of history. We had two full days exploring Algiers city center, including a detailed visit to the Casbah, alongside the breathtaking ruins of Tipaza and Cherchell. I gained invaluable insights into local culture and heritage that I couldn't have found in any guidebook. Soraya’s kindness and hospitality really enhanced the experience. My trip to Algeria was unforgettable. I spent a week visiting Algiers, Constantine, Timgad, Oran, and Tipaza with Algeria Tours16 in August 2025. I am grateful to the efficient and dependable team of Algeria Tours16. Their knowledgeable guides introduced me to fascinating cultural sites, and the attentive drivers provided safe and timely transportation from the airport. I must especially thank Wassim, who was instrumental throughout the entire process, from obtaining my Algerian visa to organizing a fantastic custom itinerary with comfortable hotels and convenient domestic flights. Algeria feels safe, with its hospitable and kind people. I highly recommend visiting to enjoy the beautiful sights, immerse yourself in the country's rich history, savor the delicious Algerian cuisine, and make lasting memories. I would love to return if given the opportunity.I9968LA_

    5. Full-day private tour of Algiers with a local guide

    4.9· 48 reviews

Eight hours exploring Algiers' Casbah and Hamma Park, with a visit to the War Memorial via funicular.

This tour of Algier was extremely thorough. Although it costs more than exploring on your own, it's a worthwhile choice if you have just a day or two to spend, especially to navigate the casbah’s complexities and understand the historical context, as the government lacks good signage for these sites. We covered nearly everything noteworthy in Algier. Our guide, Rym, was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, making the experience relaxing. With only the two of us in the group, we were able to customize our itinerary to suit our preferences. However, since it was Ramadan, we didn't receive lunch or drinks during the tour, which I had somewhat expected since we were informed they would still be provided. Overall, I highly recommend this experience.Princess_Pudding
