We had an unforgettable four-day experience in Algiers and Tipaza, largely thanks to our exceptional guide Amina. In Algiers, the Casbah, Essay Garden, and Basilica of Our Lady of Africa offered an incredible exploration of history and culture. This tour of Algier was extremely thorough. Although it costs more than exploring on your own, it's a worthwhile choice if you have just a day or two to spend, especially to navigate the casbah’s complexities and understand the historical context, as the government lacks good signage for these sites. We covered nearly everything noteworthy in Algier. Our guide, Rym, was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, making the experience relaxing. With only the two of us in the group, we were able to customize our itinerary to suit our preferences. However, since it was Ramadan, we didn't receive lunch or drinks during the tour, which I had somewhat expected since we were informed they would still be provided. Overall, I highly recommend this experience.
We had a wonderful experience with this agency during our day in Algiers. We visited the Casbah, the Martyrs Monument, and the Test Garden. The restaurant we tried served excellent couscous, even better than my mom's. It was a fantastic introduction to my hometown, Algiers.
Terrible experience. I booked three weeks prior but received no response to my messages the day before. They didn’t show up for the trip and also ignored Viator. We found an alternative with "Best of Algiers Tour by Algeriatours16," who were very helpful and quick to respond on WhatsApp. I recommend avoiding Riwaya Travel and this tour.
