The food was fantastic, and our guide, Jose, truly impressed us. His knowledge of New Mexico's history and culinary details was extensive. We found ourselves chatting with him until 7:30 pm, as he is one of the most charming people I have ever encountered.
I was aware of the no cancellation policy, but I reached out to the company because my husband fell seriously ill. I received no response at all from them. While I accept the loss of my money, I wish they had at least acknowledged my situation. I'm feeling terrible about this.
This tour provides an excellent insight into the history of Albuquerque's cuisine. Each restaurant we visited had delightful food and a unique atmosphere, showcasing Albuquerque and New Mexico beautifully. We toured during green pepper season and enjoyed every single stop. You definitely won’t leave hungry, as the portions are generous, along with the warm hospitality.
This food tour was outstanding. Our guide, Jose, was gracious, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful as he led us through several wonderful restaurants. Everything was top-notch and tasty, and the extra insights Jose provided will definitely assist us as we continue to explore Santa Fe on our own. Highly recommended.
The concept is excellent. I appreciated the historical insights, even though they were delivered quickly and were sometimes hard to follow. Sampling local foods was a nice touch, but there was limited flexibility with drinks, so be cautious if you request anything different.
Jose was an excellent guide, providing plenty of knowledge and graciously addressing our questions. He explained the history and various uses of different chile peppers as we sampled the delicious foods. I highly recommend this tour.
I stopped by K Style Kitchen while running an errand, arriving about 45 minutes before closing, but that didn't seem to matter given the small number of tables. As I looked at the menu, the waitress, from behind the cash register, rushed me despite my request for a moment. After ordering two excellent egg rolls, spicy Napa Valley Kimchi, and a bowl of Noodle Soup, the food came out in a timely manner. The egg rolls were served steaming hot, requiring some time to cool, while the Kimchi was fresh from the cooler. The soup, with its clear broth and thick Udon noodles, was also very hot, which was fine for slurping. However, shortly after I received my soup, the waitress kept pushing for me to take a container for my leftovers, reminding me they were closing soon and even started to wipe down my table without resolution. Despite a 15% tip that I now regret, the meal cost me $24.27, and I won’t be returning due to the mediocre food, limited options, and poor service.
This tour of Mexican cuisine was incredible. Our guide, Jose Lopez, was fantastic, sharing a wealth of history and insights about New Mexico while detailing each dish served. Be prepared to eat plenty, as the amount of food is substantial and everything was flavorful. I strongly recommend this experience and suggest requesting Jose as your guide.
This was a fantastic experience that combined learning about the local culture with enjoying drinks during the day. The guide was well-informed about the region's history and the food's ingredients.
This food tour was an outstanding experience. The array of dishes we tried, including spicy green chili, refreshing margaritas, and delightful local pudding, was impressive. Our guide Joe was engaging and knowledgeable, bringing the history and culture of the area to life. Connecting with fellow participants made the experience even more enjoyable. We left incredibly full and with a greater appreciation for the local cuisine. I highly recommend this tour for anyone eager to discover the region's flavors.
