This tour of the islands and caves was enjoyable. We had the opportunity to swim in one spot and saw one turtle, but it was disappointing as it’s off-season. The turtle was surrounded by six boats, which felt a bit sad, but I understand tourists want to see it. The beach we visited was decent. Overall, it was an okay experience.
We enjoyed a lovely morning on this tour. It was a relief to be part of a small group, and the extra ten euros was definitely worth it compared to the overcrowded options. The reception was smooth, and we were fortunate to spot a turtle shortly after. We then sailed to the caves, had some swimming time, and visited the turtle island. Captain Alexander was not only friendly and sociable but also very knowledgeable and professional, demonstrating impressive skills in navigating the boat.
The staff were incredibly welcoming to my friend and me. The island is stunning, and the tour was lovely. I would definitely recommend any of the tours.
Had a great time on the boat tour, which included turtle spotting—challenging but manageable during the off-season—beautiful views of sea caves, impressive cliffs, and a hint of volcanic sulfur. Swimming at Turtle Island was also an option in the off-season. Afterward, I explored the same spots from the shore, walking along the cliffs and enjoying the beach with its unique boiled egg scent, along with the lovely caves and sandy areas.
The tour was excellent. We visited in mid-April when the temperature was around 21 degrees with light winds, making it a comfortable experience without large crowds. The night before, the boat schedule was changed, but the new timings ended up working better for us. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any turtles as it wasn't the right season for them in April, and the speedboat ride was quite bumpy and fully packed. On the positive side, our guide was amiable and highlighted notable landmarks. We had a stop to swim, where I explored a cave, and then spent an hour on a stunning island. The clarity of the water was astonishing—I lost my goggles, and my friend attempted to dive to retrieve them, easily visible despite the water's depth of 10-12 meters. It’s incredible how clear the water was. I highly recommend this experience.
The boat tour with Captain Alexander was fantastic. The scenery was beautiful, and he provided great entertainment. However, it felt a bit concerning to see one turtle surrounded by five boats, though it might be permitted.
This was a nice 3-hour trip exploring caves, cliffs, and turtles. With only 8 people on board, we had ample space. Captain Alexander was both humorous and skilled, ensuring we felt safe. Early in the season, swimming stops might be a bit long since the sea temperature is still quite chilly at 17 degrees. However, if you enjoy the cooler water, be sure to bring a sweater.
We enjoyed an excellent afternoon on the boat with Alexander. Even though it was still early in the season, we spotted a turtle, which was quite special. Additionally, we visited stunning spots at the Keri caves and Marathonisi Island, with chances to swim in amazing locations.
This was a wonderful experience that was well-organized and offered at a fair price.
It was an excellent experience. Alejandro made for a fantastic and humorous guide, while captain Petrus was also impressive. We had the chance to see three turtles.
