As a solo traveler on a private tour, I did pay extra, but it was entirely worthwhile. George is an exceptional guide; his extensive knowledge of the island's history and hidden treasures made the experience both enlightening and memorable. From the moment we secured the tour, we anticipated a fantastic experience. George reached out via WhatsApp to introduce himself while we were still in the UK, offering assistance before and during our time in Zante. Upon arrival, we contacted George, and he checked on us, even suggesting we adjust our tour to another day for better sea conditions. This day was absolutely amazing! Giorgio was a wonderful host, making everything so enjoyable for my friends and me. He picked us up and took us to the boat, where we had a personalized tour. We were able to stay as long as we wished at each stop, exploring caves, beaches, and islands. Giorgio provided a GoPro and drone for photos, as well as drinks, snacks, and music. The last part of the trip included a viewpoint and an olive factory, both of which were fantastic. The olive oil tasting was delightful, and there were numerous great products available for souvenirs or gifts. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Giorgio! Since I experience motion sickness, he came well-equipped with medications and was very understanding. He tailored our itinerary to include all the sights we wished to see, such as several lookout points, a boat tour of the Blue Caves, and Turtle Island. If you're headed to Zakynthos, booking this tour is essential. George is an exceptional guide, possibly the best in all of Greece. With his assistance, I planned a surprise proposal that became a dream realization! He took us to the shipwreck viewpoint, played our song, and captured stunning photos. He was incredibly accommodating; knowing my fiancé experiences motion sickness, George drove carefully, brought medicine, and navigated us to calmer waters. Despite a windy day and less than ideal weather for boat tours, he managed to find peaceful spots for swimming and to explore beautiful beaches. After the tour, he stayed in touch, providing suggestions for places to visit and events happening on the island. He truly made our trip unforgettable.

If you have the chance to tour with George in Zakynthos, consider yourself fortunate. My fiancé and I took this tour in June, and we still talk about it every week. After booking through the Marriott tours website, George reached out to us, showcasing his humor and friendliness right from the start. He was not only a fantastic host but also a delightful person to share the day with. He took us to extraordinarily beautiful locations, on a private boat to hidden spots we would have never discovered otherwise, as well as restaurants we wouldn’t have found. Having lived in Zante his entire life, he knows the island thoroughly. I can't think of anything I would have adjusted to improve our experience. As our time together was coming to an end, I was already hoping to book him for a second day, but sadly, he was unavailable for the rest of our stay.
