The trip with this company was outstanding. We went turtle spotting, explored caves with opportunities to swim in crystal clear waters, and spent an hour at Turtle Island where boat bars offered food and drinks.
This was a fantastic boat excursion. We saw turtles on two occasions and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Since the boat accommodates up to 20 passengers, it felt much more intimate compared to larger vessels. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
The full-day tour around Zakynthos was an incredible experience that should not be missed. The stunning scenery and swimming in the beautiful sea made it truly enjoyable.
Great experience with plenty to see and enjoy. Bring swim shoes because it gets quite wet from splashes and water coming in. It's best not to bring too much. There are no life vests or restroom facilities on the boat, and it can be windy, so consider wearing a sweater if you're sensitive to the cold.
This experience was fantastic. We visited in September, close to the end of turtle season, and while we were told sightings were unlikely, we were lucky enough to see one large turtle. The area around the caves is incredibly peaceful with beautiful views, although the caves are more like small openings in the mountain. Our skipper was both friendly and remarkably skilled at handling the boat, which impressed me greatly. When my dad’s hat was blown into the sea by the wind, the skipper stopped to retrieve it. Unfortunately, it started to rain when we reached the beach, so we couldn't swim or stay long, which was disappointing but not anyone's fault. Overall, I would definitely recommend this experience.
The information provided was not current, but the guide we spoke with was very helpful. We missed out on visiting some of the Keri caves due to rough sea conditions, though we did spot a turtle. It would have been nice if the boat pilot had offered some commentary.
Great sightseeing of the island, very thorough. However, there are many similar tours available on the island at more affordable prices.
It was a wonderful experience; we encountered a turtle. Swimming at the Keri caves, with the majestic cliffs surrounding us, was truly memorable. We also took a break at Marathonisi beach for a swim and even saw an octopus while snorkeling. A great captain and guide, thank you!
I don’t typically write reviews for trips, but I thought it might be useful to share my experience to assist others in deciding if this excursion is suitable for them. My friends and I were somewhat let down by this outing. A key point to consider is that the boat isn't located at a dock; instead, you have to walk through the water to reach it. The guide informed us that the water would be knee-deep, but it turned out to be much deeper than we expected. Additionally, the water in Laganas Bay was not particularly clean, and we ended up wet and dirty before the trip really commenced. Although the boat was promoted as having a “glass bottom,” the viewing area was significantly smaller than we envisioned. Given the overall experience, we thought the excursion was quite overpriced for what it provided. We think we might have seen one turtle during the trip, but visibility was poor that day due to weather conditions. While there was music playing on board, it was hard to hear over the sound of the boat engine. On a positive note, the guides were very friendly and made an effort to ensure we had a good time, which we appreciated. Another drawback was that we were dropped off far from the shore at the end of the excursion, which meant we got wet and dirty again after finally drying off and needed to shower immediately upon returning to our villa. In summary, the activity didn't live up to our expectations, and my friends and I left feeling disappointed. However, we enjoyed a different boat trip the next day (the Shipwreck Beach excursion), which was much better, so I recommend considering that option instead.
The trip was initially scheduled for Saturday but had to be moved to Sunday. The boat was crowded, but we were comfortable. The captain was really friendly. Despite the challenging weather, we enjoyed ourselves and even spotted a turtle. However, it felt quite touristy, with many boats in close proximity.
