Kayaking on Yellowstone Lake was a fantastic experience. Our guide Dylan was excellent in preparing us and provided plenty of insights about the lake and its caldera. While we didn't spot large wildlife, we did see several Golden Eye ducks, a Merganser, and a loon. Upon our return, there were ring-necked gulls waiting for us. We ventured to the West Thumb Geyser Basin and explored deeper into the backcountry. The lake was serene, making for easy paddling. We highly recommend the sunset tour for anyone who loves being on the water.
