However, if you seek a real adventure with diverse wildlife and off-road hiking, this isn't the right choice. It was enjoyable, but the cost didn’t justify such a gentle hike.

Spencer, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. He provided us with a hearty lunch, snacks, water, and Gatorade. We spotted pronghorn, numerous bison, several badgers, and various birds. The hike was well-paced and informative. Emily Jo and Josh were wonderful! Emily Jo addressed my worries about bringing my 12 and 9-year-old daughters beforehand. When we arrived, Josh met us at the trailhead and guided us on less-traveled paths. We explored the bison trails, spotted a herd, a couple of pronghorns, and even grizzly tracks. His knowledge of the park and its wildlife made it feel like we had an exclusive experience.
