Amit, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable and communicated everything clearly. He answered all of our questions without hesitation. We truly appreciated this experience.
Amit, our tour guide, provided an outstanding experience. His extensive knowledge and willingness to address our inquiries made the tour enjoyable, and he took us to all the fascinating landmarks in the city.
Our guide collected us from our BNB and kindly dropped us off at RavenQuilts afterward. They were friendly and well-informed, providing a personal perspective on Yellowknife. We concluded our tour at Down to Earth Gallery, a fantastic local art shop, where we browsed before heading to our final stop. Our guide also accompanied us through the museum, sharing valuable insights during our exploration. The visit to the Diamond Store was rich in information about the local area and mining. It offered a serene respite from our nightly Aurora viewings and daily adventures.
The guide collected us from our hotel and showed us around Yellowknife City, offering in-depth explanations about the museum while ensuring everyone stayed close. We explored souvenir shops and learned about the local history, visited the Bush Pilots Monument for a beautiful city view, and ended at a Diamond and Jewelry Center, where we watched a short film on Yellowknife's mining history. This tour provides insights into the history, culture, and way of life in Yellowknife. You'll even receive a certificate with fun stamps at the Visitor Center, and they drop you off anywhere in the city or back at your hotel.
This tour exceeded my expectations in detail. Emmitt, whose name I may have spelled incorrectly, was knowledgeable about the local culture and history. We left feeling enriched and equipped with a great list of activities for our trip. I suggest doing this tour on your first day so you can utilize the guide's recommendations throughout your journey.
Moe provided us with a tailored tour, expertly detailing the different landmarks in Yellowknife. His deep understanding of the city and its history really stood out. We strongly recommend his tour for anyone wanting to explore the city's culture and its people.
The tour guide was pleasant and approachable; however, some parts of her speech were hard to understand since English wasn't her first language. Those sitting at the back of the vehicle struggled to hear anything over the heater noise.
While Pei, our guide, was friendly and adaptable, her knowledge of Yellowknife, including its history and culture, was lacking. It seemed she could benefit from more preparation. We did appreciate her flexibility to adjust the itinerary.
The experience was wonderful. With only four participants, the tour felt very tailored to us. We enjoyed seeing the sights, learning new things, and shopping. However, the diamond store was closed during our visit.
Wilson is an enthusiastic person who genuinely enjoys sharing insights about Yellowknife. He is friendly, kind, and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him.
