Choosing to tour with Mo at the last minute was an excellent decision. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to address all our questions. Additionally, he was very accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful tour.
We spent a wonderful afternoon with Mo exploring many highlights of Yellowknife. The guided visits to the Prince of Wales Museum and the Legislative Assembly were particularly enjoyable, along with the scenic drive through various parts of the city.

I visited Yellowknife for the first time and was incredibly lucky to have Mo as my guide, especially since I was the only participant that day. His extensive knowledge about the city's history and culture enriched my experience, as he shared insightful stories about key landmarks. The weather was perfect, allowing me to capture stunning photos, particularly from the breathtaking view at Bush Pilot's Monument overlooking Yellowknife and Great Slave Lake. Our walk through Old Town complemented the guided visits to the impressive Legislative Assembly and the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. I appreciated that Mo was flexible with the itinerary, accommodating my request to skip some stops I planned to explore on my own the next day while introducing me to other fascinating locations. Mo's engaging conversation and attention to detail made him a wonderful guide. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a comprehensive overview of this charming northern city.
I went on a tour in Yellowknife with my mother and sister, and we were the only ones there. Our guide, Mimi, was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and warm. She parked close for my mother, who has mobility issues, and assisted us with her wheelchair. Mimi also suggested some excellent dining options in Yellowknife, making our experience truly wonderful and unforgettable. While the tour is advertised in English, Mimi is fluent in both English and Japanese. She ensured we understood everything by guiding us in both languages. If you're unsure about your English skills but are interested in this tour, I believe Mimi can also help you in Japanese.
The tour was very informative. Our guide Leon demonstrated extensive knowledge and was very helpful throughout the experience. It truly felt like a valuable history lesson.
Leon was an outstanding guide with a deep knowledge of Yellowknife's history and culture. His storytelling at each stop made the tour incredibly engaging and truly unforgettable.
Nancy was outstanding! She had a wealth of local knowledge. Our main interest was First Nations cultural heritage, and she provided valuable insights, taking us to exhibits that proved to be highly educational.
Our city tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history and culture of indigenous peoples. Nancy did an excellent job sharing the rich history of Yellowknife. We combined this tour with a package from Destination NWT that included three nights of Aurora viewing and various daytime activities like snowmobiling, ice fishing, and dog sledding. We're already planning to come back with Leon & Luna's tour company for a longer stay.
We had an amazing day on the tour! Nancy, our guide, provided us with a wealth of historical information and was truly passionate about promoting Yellowknife's culture, making it all worthwhile despite the -39°C temperature.
