Stefanie A was the finest walking tour guide I have ever encountered. She is eloquent, classy, and a superb storyteller; I could listen to her for hours. While traveling with a group of 12 community college students from Texas, I met my German exchange student in Würzburg along with his family, who had limited English skills. Thanks to her clear and beautiful communication, they could follow most of the tour in English. Stefanie is regal and delightful, and I feel grateful to have experienced her guidance twice—once on our arrival day in Würzburg and again on December 15th. Thank you, Stefanie, for an amazing tour and for helping me select the perfect wine in the Residenz Gift Shop! I enjoyed it with friends back home in Texas, and it was fantastic.
The city of Wurzburg was lovely, and our guide shared extensive knowledge, providing excellent explanations about its history.
We arranged a private tour for nine individuals. It was quite enjoyable and guided us through the major attractions in the city center.
We arranged this tour for our small group, and even with the rain, it turned out to be an enjoyable and highly informative experience. I would definitely recommend it.
Stefanie was exceptional. Having traveled to many countries with various guides, I can say she is the best I've encountered. With over 20 years of experience, her passion for guiding was evident. She shared detailed historical context about the famous landmarks and we enjoyed engaging conversations throughout our time together. She was aware of what sites, like cathedrals, were open and managed to fit three hours of content into just two hours. She maximized our time effectively, making it a genuinely enjoyable experience. Anyone would be lucky to have Stefanie as their guide.
It felt more like sharing a drink than experiencing something special. I didn't find any memorable moments, even from afar along the riverbanks. I did notice a spot with a set of locked keys.
The guide provided a wealth of information covering history, architecture, religion, city governance, and local traditions. The English-speaking guide was articulate, and the personal touch added depth to the stories. I loved every moment!
Due to a two-hour train delay, we couldn't experience the full two hours of the tour. However, Ms. Nickel extended the tour slightly to share more about Würzburg, and her stories were engaging and enjoyable. She also provided helpful suggestions for other activities. Overall, we appreciated the tour. Thank you.
