I really enjoyed sampling different drinks at various pubs. Heather was an excellent storyteller, and the dark atmosphere made her murder tales even more engaging. It was also nice to interact with the other couples on the tour.
I took my mom to Colonial Williamsburg for her 70th birthday, and she surprised me by booking a Murder Tour and Pub Crawl. We had an amazing time. Our guide, Heather, was fantastic—funny, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable. We also stumbled upon the evening Fife and Drum March, which was a nice addition. We enjoyed drinks at the Williamsburg Winery Tasting Room, The Hound's Tale, and Precarious Beer Project, and all were excellent. This was truly a memorable experience, and I would recommend it to everyone.
This tour was incredibly dull and involved more walking than anticipated. While it was advertised as a murder tour, only three murders were discussed. There were some intriguing historical facts, but they didn't justify the high cost. We encountered two other tours that were far more engaging and were also half the price.
The guide was highly knowledgeable and full of energy. He passionately recounted various tales of murder and history with a dramatic flair. It's evident he loves his work, which enriched our experience significantly.
The tour guide never showed up, and we were informed that the tour was cancelled without any notice. It seems August is not the ideal time to visit Williamsburg, as this is the second tour we've signed up for that has been cancelled.
Our experience on the Murder & Pub Tour with Randy was exceptional. He shared his extensive knowledge in a captivating way, skillfully blending humor with suspense. His vibrant energy kept us all engaged throughout the evening, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and had fun. The combination of intriguing true crime stories and enjoyable pub visits created an ideal night. If possible, request Randy as your guide—you will not regret it.
Heather was our tour guide, and she did an amazing job! Her sense of humor made the experience enjoyable, and our group had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this tour and hope you get Heather as your guide.
Our murder tour was an excellent experience. Our guide, Randy, showcased impressive knowledge and storytelling skills, engaging everyone with captivating tales that made the tour both enjoyable and intriguing. The pubs we stopped at were entertaining, and the drinks were delightful. We highly recommend it!
Heather was a fantastic tour guide. She was personable and had a deep knowledge of Williamsburg's history. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and appreciate the unforgettable experience.
There was a lot of walking involved, and there were no benches or places to sit at the stops. We had to stand for over 30 minutes at each stop. Although the guide shared some interesting stories, they tended to be mixed up and hard to recall the next day. He seemed like a genuinely nice person. We appreciated the two additional stops along with the first one, and the three full-sized drinks included were a nice touch. The pub was quite busy when we arrived on a Friday evening at 7, but we found him waiting at the entrance.
