From the moment I booked online, the staff demonstrated their willingness to help. The timely hotel pickup for the night viewing was appreciated. The guides provided valuable information about the group size and what to anticipate. Safety was prioritized, and during a brief frost issue with the bus windshield, they promptly switched us to a backup vehicle, showing their preparedness. They even supplied blankets to keep warm in the -42 degrees. For first timers like myself, there was a thorough orientation covering the safety paths, restroom locations, and tips on how to stay warm. Shijiro, an expert on the northern lights, kept the excitement alive by encouraging us to chase the auroras. He also offered photography tips for my iPhone and helped me take pictures when my phone died from the cold. I had a negative experience with another company that canceled my trip due to safety concerns, so I was hesitant about joining a larger group. However, Arctic Range Adventures far exceeded my expectations. It's unfortunate that I discovered them on my last day, as I would have loved to try more activities with them. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable and for the opportunity to safely experience the northern lights. It was a remarkable night.
This tour was truly enjoyable. Our guide, who was from Germany, did a fantastic job and was very helpful, always letting us know when the lights were visible, especially since we spent much of the time indoors due to the cold. There were plenty of hot drinks and snacks provided in various locations. We were lucky as the skies cleared up following a snowy day. I highly recommend this experience.
I had a wonderful travel experience and strongly recommend this agency for the aurora hunting tour. Be ready for the possibility of seeing or not seeing the lights. I appreciated that they have friendly Spanish-speaking guides. Embrace the experience and definitely opt for the photo package, as it's a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Although we didn't see the aurora, our guides Maria and Mariko were very friendly and made sure we stayed warm all night.
Both the hardware and software were impressive. It would be ideal if the warm house had Wi-Fi. Additionally, it would enhance the experience if the guide could teach guests how to capture photos of the Aurora.
