I bought both since they were affordable. I rated this app two stars because I did manage to download something, but I didn’t put much effort into troubleshooting my problems due to a lack of cell service in the mountains.
Excellent stories from the backwoods. I really enjoyed the accent. The GPS functioned perfectly throughout our journey along the Kancamagus Highway.
I reached out to the developer through two different channels but received no reply. We could only hear about half the audio due to static and poor clarity, despite having a new car with satellite service. Ultimately, we ended up reading the script to each other, which wasn't what we expected for the price we paid.
This app was fantastic. It provided precise directions to the tour's starting point. The information was both engaging and insightful. The pacing allowed us to drive safely while enjoying the views, and the narrator kept our attention throughout. We gained much more from the drive than we would have otherwise.
Avoid this tour if you are heading in the opposite direction. Also, do not depend on chat support for reliable information.
The app ceased to provide information halfway through the journey, only saying, "Welcome to the Kancamagus highway." There was a lack of details for most of the trip.
The highway offers stunning views, particularly during the peak of fall. Even though it's just 32 miles long and could be done in under an hour, my wife and I spent over four hours stopping at various scenic overlooks. While the peak colors weren't fully visible last week, there were still more vibrant hues than in nearby areas. We visited on a Thursday morning, resulting in almost no traffic and ample parking at all the spots we wanted to explore. Take your time to soak in the beautiful scenery.
