The Via Ferrata Whistler experience truly stood out as the highlight of my trip to Whistler and ranks among the best excursions I've been on during any vacation. Our guide, Jerome, was exceptional, bringing a relaxed and friendly Canadian vibe that made our five-star adventure even more enjoyable. His calm presence helped ease any nerves related to the activity. From the very beginning, he felt more like family than just a guide. We visited in early July 2025, when there was still snow on the trail and the weather was cool, although a warm front was on its way. Even with the cool conditions, we hiked in short sleeves, though wearing jeans is advisable. If you don’t have hiking boots, they are available for borrowing. Gloves aren’t needed, but it’s wise to overpack; if the weather allows, you can leave unneeded items in their hut, which we did by leaving three-quarters of our gear behind. Don't forget to bring plenty of water. Also, make sure to ask Jerome about the seagull sandwiches.
The rock climbing tour was an amazing experience. I had never tried it before, and it truly exceeded my expectations.
The Via Ferrata offers an incredible experience. Jeremy, our guide, was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the climb. It's a physical endeavor, though not too difficult for those who are reasonably active. The views from the summit are stunning, and the bridge up there is also impressive. We would definitely participate in another activity with MSAA, as they were outstanding.
My sons had a fantastic time on the Via Ferrata. Jeremy was an excellent guide, and they found the route to be accessible with stunning views. I regret not joining them. Additionally, it was nice to receive complimentary photos afterwards since they were hesitant to take their phones out.
This was a fantastic adventure! We had a wonderful time scaling the mountain using the ladders. Our guide, Nicholas, was excellent—he provided us with a wealth of information about the area and made us feel secure. It was incredibly fun, and I highly recommend it!
Maya, our tour guide, was exceptional. This excursion was outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has the physical ability to spend four hours climbing Whistler Mountain. Gloves are advisable to prevent hand calluses, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. It's worth noting that the morning tour can be hotter than the afternoon due to the sun's position, so plan accordingly when you book.
Climbing the Via Ferrata in Whistler was an incredible experience. Our guide, Maya Kakizaki, was fun, personable, and professional, which made the adventure even more enjoyable. This is an experience definitely worth having.
My husband, son, and I took part in the Via Ferrata in Whistler, and it was an amazing experience. My 13-year-old son, a rock climber, felt perfectly at ease, while my husband, who is accustomed to ladders, also found it comfortable. I started feeling anxious during the first major vertical stretch, but our guide Maya was remarkable; she quickly noticed and adjusted our climbing order to stay close to me for support. Her reassurance was invaluable, helping me feel more comfortable as she guided me up the wall. Ultimately, we all felt a great sense of achievement and were able to relish the stunning views. Maya’s expertise about the glacier, lakes, and rock formations was impressive. I highly recommend this fantastic adventure.
It was an incredible and exhilarating experience. Our guide Jeremy was fantastic! Even though it was a cloudy day and visibility was limited, the views were still stunning.
My sons and I had an incredible day of climbing. Everything was clearly explained, and we felt safe throughout the experience. Our guide, Jeremy, was excellent and showed great expertise. I would highly recommend this trip and the company.
