This full-day tour departs in a comfortable mini-coach along the picturesque Sea to Sky Highway, showcasing views of Howe Sound, North America's southernmost glacial fjord. The first stop is at Shannon Falls, where you can feel the refreshing spray from the province’s third-highest waterfall. Following this, board the Sea to Sky Gondola for an ascent of 850 metres, taking in expansive views over the region.
Upon arrival in Whistler, there’s an optional short guided walking tour of Whistler Village. Afterward, you'll have ample free time to explore the shops, art galleries, or enjoy a drink on a patio along the village stroll. Whistler Resort is known for its outdoor activities, so your guide can suggest additional experiences to consider during your stay. The journey concludes with a scenic return trip along the Sea to Sky Highway.

Bernie is an excellent tour guide. He provided us with a lot of information and was very attentive to our needs. Despite the weather not being on our side, he ensured we still had a great adventure.
We appreciated the lengthy trip to Whistler, which included visits to the gondola and Shannon Falls. The check-in process was straightforward with a representative at the pickup location. The bus was cozy, and the driver/guide shared fascinating information about Vancouver and the surrounding region of BC. However, we were surprised that the longer stops were meant for hiking at each site. We would have preferred less time, particularly in Whistler, but the views during the journey were stunning.
What an incredible day trip from Vancouver! This tour offered a fantastic experience along the Sea to Sky Highway, showcasing highlights like the gondola, the falls, and Whistler. Our guide, Rebecca, was exceptional—very adaptable and considerate, ensuring that everyone's day was enjoyable and seamless. She made an effort to remember names, engage in conversation, and shared plenty of interesting facts while keeping the atmosphere fun. I highly recommend Rebecca as a guide for her blend of entertainment and knowledge.
The tour to Whistler was a fantastic highlight of my BC trip. Our guide, Bernie Glemas, truly enhanced the experience with his engaging and informative storytelling. He was knowledgeable and clearly explained everything, even accommodating South American tourists by speaking Spanish. Bernie’s humor kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable. He also provided excellent dining recommendations in Whistler; the taco restaurant he suggested was amazing! By day’s end, our group, which started as strangers, felt like friends.
My day was fantastic, seamlessly organized from beginning to end. I am grateful to Rebecca, our guide, who was wonderful: attentive, warm, and consistently smiling. She provided many intriguing stories and insights throughout the day. I appreciated the opportunity to explore at my own pace, without any pressure. I highly recommend this top-notch experience.
The sights were incredible, and the pacing of the tour was good, but I couldn't give a higher rating due to a frustrating experience with the Big Bus tours' email response. We arrived at Canada Place’s open plaza by 7:50 am as instructed, only to wait until 8:40 am in the cold, windy weather at 6°C without anyone showing up. After enduring the chill, I caught a sore throat and ended up with the flu. I called at 8:15 am, and the person I spoke with told us to remain there until someone arrived, making the wait torturous. On a positive note, our tour guide and driver, Leslie, had a great attitude and helped lighten the mood, sharing many fascinating details about each location. However, the initial experience took a toll on my health.
Our tour was led by the wonderful Rebecca, who proved to be an exceptional and knowledgeable guide. We found the experience to be fantastic, offering glimpses of Canada that we might have otherwise missed. It was the perfect way to spend the day, particularly if you have a few days before your cruise. I highly recommend it.
This was an outstanding experience. Our tour guide, Bernie, truly made it excellent. He was the best guide I've ever had—very informative and had a fantastic personality. He managed to keep everything on schedule.
We had a wonderful day, and our guide Gavin was friendly and shared his extensive knowledge about the places we explored.
Gavin was excellent in sharing the area's rich history while also allowing us time to explore independently. His recommendations for our free time were very helpful. This tour is definitely a must-do.
