We enjoyed a wonderful experience as a family. Our guide Eli was fantastic—humorous, attentive, and always available to assist us. Thank you so much! Even as total beginners, we had a great time on the water.
We participated in the canoe adventure and were picked up from their office for a brief bus ride to the lake, where all the necessary gear was provided. Ilona and Callum were very friendly and supportive throughout. The instructions were clear, and we had a great chance to practice before we set out. As expected, the scenery was beautiful. Canoeing across the lake was fairly easy, but the river section became more demanding. We improved our skills along the way and truly enjoyed ourselves, feeling a real sense of accomplishment upon reaching the final destination, where we were transported back to the office. This was one of the best mornings we've experienced during our travels and we highly recommend it.
This was an incredible adventure! The high water and strong current made it really exciting. The scenery was breathtaking. My husband and I had only experienced kayaking on calm waters, so this was a completely new experience. Our guides provided practice time for all the necessary paddle strokes, ensuring we were well-prepared for the river. Everyone could go at their own speed, with some groups taking it easy while we paddled vigorously, which was a lot of fun. We will definitely repeat this when we return to Whistler. A special thanks to our fantastic guides, Brandan B and Eli.
Canoeing on the lake and river, set against stunning alpine views, truly embodies the Canadian experience. Our guides, Ilona and Tom, ensured our trip was thoroughly enjoyable. We relished our afternoon paddling through lily pads and maneuvering around beaver dams. We were thrilled to receive a 50% discount on our second adventure with this fantastic company, allowing us to enjoy an E-Bike day that included swimming in Lost Lake.
This was an incredible experience that we highly recommend. The scenery is breathtaking, with beautiful river and lake views. Our guide, Calum, was extremely helpful throughout the adventure.
Our experience was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our holiday. Ilona and Josh took excellent care of us and taught us how to navigate the canoes properly, including a memorable beaver dam rescue. The river was beautiful, with dragonflies buzzing around and mountains in the backdrop. It was fantastic!
Brandon served as an excellent guide, providing helpful information and demonstrating great patience. He was skilled at offering personalized assistance to everyone on the trip based on their individual needs.
What a fantastic canoe adventure down the River of Golden Dreams. Our guide, Georgia, ensured we were all skilled at paddling before we embarked on our journey. Our 15-year-old daughter enjoyed her own kayak, while our 12-year-old son paddled in a canoe with us. It was a lot of fun, and we also appreciated Alejandro’s great care throughout the experience.
Georgia was wonderful. It was the first paddle of the season and it was fantastic. She is an incredibly knowledgeable guide who ensures that everyone feels included.
It was a chilly, overcast morning at around 2 degrees Celsius, perfect for adventure. The staff at the booking office were friendly, and the transfer team along with our guide, Georgia, were great—she was wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable. Conditions on the lake included about 10 knot winds and small white caps, adding excitement, but entering the nearly hidden river brought a sense of seclusion and tranquility. We also enjoyed spotting various birds and fish. I highly recommend this experience, especially since the river is absolutely stunning, which was the main attraction.
