The experience was incredible. We received top-notch service and had a highly skilled pilot. Every dollar spent was worthwhile. Much appreciation for the wonderful time.
Our tour of NYC with Wings Air was incredible. Eric was fantastic on the ground, while Mario provided an excellent aerial experience. We enjoyed seeing the top sites from above, accompanied by insightful commentary. A truly remarkable outing. Highly recommend.
A close friend visiting from Shanghai, along with her family, wanted to take a helicopter tour of NYC, and I opted for Wings Air (WA). From my first contact with them, everything went smoothly. Anna and Eric were highly professional and promptly addressed all my inquiries by phone and text. A family member with extensive helicopter experience also spoke with Anna and was impressed by her expertise and professionalism, giving her his full endorsement. Anna recommended a 45-minute flight at 8 pm, allowing them to enjoy the views during daylight, sunset, and nighttime, which turned out to be perfect. They were picked up from their hotel and taken to Westchester to board the helicopter. While I'm not familiar with the preboarding process, I have no doubt it was excellent. The 45-minute flight exceeded their expectations, and their son was extremely happy. A driver was ready to take them back to the city afterward. Overall, it was a flawless experience, and my thanks go to everyone at WA for making this unforgettable adventure possible. I highly recommend them.
I found the experience disappointing. Although the crew was nice, the tour itself was dull and unexciting. The altitude was too high to see much at all, and it felt no different from landing at LaGuardia.
The Private Helicopter Tour departing from Westchester was incredible. The aerial views of New York City were stunning, and our pilot provided intriguing commentary about the skyline. The intimate atmosphere for our group of four added a special touch. This is a must-try experience for those seeking a different viewpoint of the city.
The entire experience was exceptional, from takeoff to landing, and definitely worth every cent. The staff was very professional and polite, the helicopter was well-maintained and visually appealing, and the pilot's skills were unmatched.
Excellent communication throughout. Our trip was rescheduled due to changing weather. The sunset timing was perfect, providing stunning views. We were fortunate and suggest concluding your adventure back in the city.
We booked a 45-minute private flight at the start of our eight-night stay in NYC, which was wise given the unpredictable weather since it allowed us to reschedule. Due to a late booking, we had to take an Uber to Westchester rather than departing from the city. I made sure to review the weight restrictions and the full refund policy for any weather issues, and we canceled and rebooked with ease. Our 4:30 PM flight was perfectly timed for sunset, which I highly recommend. We also negotiated on site to take off and land in the city, which added to the experience. The views were breathtaking, especially as we saw landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, and more, all beautifully illuminated at sunset. This flight was undoubtedly the highlight of our NYC visit. I felt very confident in the safety of the flight, which was crucial since my whole family was on board. The 45-minute flight ended up lasting 60 minutes, giving us additional time to enjoy the city from above. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough—it's truly a bucket list adventure.
We opted for the 45-minute journey in a twin-engine helicopter, and it was a remarkable experience. Being so near to the iconic landmarks was incredible, and we captured some stunning photos. I would certainly recommend this.
I arranged a helicopter tour with Wings Air Helicopters for my family of four as a special anniversary gift for my parents, spending $3,000 on a 45-minute flight. I chose this particular tour because their website claimed we would “FLY DIRECTLY OVER PARTS OF MANHATTAN INCLUDING CENTRAL PARK AND THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING,” something that meant a lot to my parents. Unfortunately, an hour before our flight, there was a mass shooting in Manhattan, leading to restrictions on airspace. Consequently, our flight only circled the outskirts of the city instead of entering Manhattan as advertised. I completely understood the situation; however, I inquired about how they would address the fact that we didn’t get the experience for which we paid. An employee spoke to his manager, who bluntly stated, “THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO AND YOU GOT YOUR MONEYS WORTH,” stating we still had a flight despite not seeing the main attractions. Moreover, their base is far from Manhattan, so a 30-minute tour barely reaches the city before turning back, making anything shorter than 45 minutes feel misleading regarding the real NYC experience. On a positive note, the pilot was excellent, and the flight was smooth and enjoyable despite the circumstances. Still, I am disappointed in how the company responded and the lack of customer service given the cost of the experience that fell short of expectations.
