I was uncertain about what I would get when I ordered this product, but it turned out to be a valuable choice. There are many options for the Yellowstone area, and you can download guides for any of the five entrances. We opted for the west entrance. Yellowstone is split into upper and lower loops, and you can select your loop and direction to explore either clockwise or counterclockwise. Make sure to download the app in an area with cell service before arriving at the park, since you won’t be able to do so once you're there. After downloading, you can choose your entrance and direction, and then enter the park. The app uses GPS to provide information based on your location, and the narrator shares plenty of options for lesser-known side roads, which we found very helpful. Grand Teton offers similar features, and both resources were informative and useful.
The narration is excellent and the content is both enjoyable and engaging. The pace allows for family conversations or peaceful appreciation of the surroundings. It's user-friendly, activating automatically as you drive through the park. Everyone in our group, ranging from ages 5 to 50, enjoyed the experience, and my 5-year-old even felt sad when the narration ended. This tour offers fantastic value for the cost.
Our two-day visit to Yellowstone was wonderful. The park wasn't busy and the weather was perfect. We went during the government shutdown, yet several visitor centers remained open thanks to nonprofit support. We will definitely return.

Yellowstone is absolutely a destination everyone should visit. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there, and we enjoyed it immensely. We spent six days exploring but wish we could have stayed even longer. We're already planning a return trip.
The audio functioned exactly as expected and provided valuable information about the park's attractions. Visiting during the fall added to the experience.
The only entrance open was the northeast, which meant backtracking on the entire road to exit. The major loop road was closed, so we missed all the main attractions, leading to disappointment. We saw a few elk, many bison, and one coyote, but it was not the experience I had 23 years ago in Yellowstone. In short, avoid visiting in winter from November to April. The guide was the sole bright spot, but I could have enjoyed that from home.
