I highly recommend this experience. It was truly wonderful. Bill was an engaging and fantastic guide, and the nighttime views of the memorials were breathtaking. The tour was very informative.
This was truly an outstanding experience. Our driver, Buckeye, was fantastic, making the trip enjoyable and ensuring we had ample time to explore. His passion for the job really shone through.
The experience was great; the driver was exceptional. He provided plenty of information and demonstrated a deep understanding of the area. Riding through DC was smooth, and his humor made it even better.
Smiley, our guide, brought a fun and knowledgeable vibe to the tour. It was an excellent way to experience the city, and it was nice to have the opportunity to get off the vehicle and explore some sites on foot.
Patty was very attentive and made sure we had ample time for pictures. Her insights were fascinating, and she shared interesting trivia about the monuments and historical events. It was an enjoyable experience and a fantastic way to avoid extensive walking.
This tour was fantastic, with an outstanding guide named Patty who was very knowledgeable. The trolley had large windows for great views, but it did get chilly, so it's best to dress in layers.
The experience at the Washington Welcome Center was disappointing, with staff treating us poorly. The trolley tour, advertised as 2.5 hours with three monument stops, began at 7:30 PM while it was still light out. We spent 30 minutes at the Lincoln Memorial, but the next two stops at Iwo Jima and MLK Jr. were rushed. The pictures on the website were misleading compared to what we saw. The driver/guide focused more on planes landing at Ronald Reagan Airport than on the actual sites, and his voice was not clear for those in the back. Overall, it felt like a waste of money.
The staff at the welcome center came across as rude. While our driver guide Jason was friendly, he spent too much time discussing planes landing at Ronald Reagan instead of focusing on the sites. I experienced this tour years ago, and it was excellent; now it felt disappointing.
We had an excellent experience on the Washington DC Monuments by Moonlight Tour. Our guide, Smiley, was incredible—very knowledgeable about the city's history and the monuments, and his friendly, engaging demeanor made the tour enjoyable. He managed to entertain the group while sharing fascinating historical insights. The nighttime views of the monuments were stunning, and the trolley ride was convenient and comfortable for our family to see many sites in one night. This tour comes highly recommended, especially if you have Smiley as your guide.
This was my first visit, and it was an excellent way to get to know the area. I chose the moonlight tour to avoid daytime crowds, which were still present but manageable. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable, though it was difficult to hear him over the loudspeaker. Once we got off the bus, it was challenging to navigate, and we missed the Roosevelt at MLK. We also didn't see the Vietnam Wall or the Korean Memorial because we were concerned about missing the bus. It felt a bit rushed, but you do get to see a lot in a short period. It's a great method to identify where everything is so you can return and explore more thoroughly. I highly recommend it.
